I expected them to not be able to take their hands off each other. I expected them to look, or touch, or hold each other all the time, to be irresistible to one another! No, Oat had a perpetual frown on his face, and Boat looked at him like he would have looked his own aunt. Don't even get me started how Boat, a true alpha, mind you, mistakenly thought Oat was pregnant somewhere in the middle of the show! Never have I encountered a situation like that in ABO verse. What about his senses, his smell, his impeccable feeling for his soulmate! Have the authors of the show ever read a single abo story in their life?!? I don't think so. Oh, I am so upset! Sorry for the rants, I feel a little bit better now that I have gotten it off my chest.
The letdown of the finale was not that surprising, since the whole show sucks. The horrible script, the off pacing, soulless settings, you name it - I would've forgiven it all for a decent ABO story.
But noooo, they somehow managed to fuck up an amazing premise, and it takes serious levels of incompetence to achieve that. And the worst of all, the absolute horror - to make a couple like BoatOat, who have proven in My Stubborn that they can do phenomenal NC scenes and, in this show, where I expected them as Alpha and Omega to light the show, and me, on FIRE, to burn with passion and desire, to devour each other - no, my friends!
We have gotten endless snooze fest conversations, the repetitive point-proving, fucking forehead kisses and uninspired baby making scene. The person responsible for this should change career immediately and never be allowed to make another show again. My heart goes out to Boat and Oat, and to all of us, for we have been duped. I am more than disappointed - I am furious!
I have never hated a character as much as Chat in all of my bl viewing history. That being said, I loved this series, especially Phob, who is such a cutie. The only thing I really had major issues with is all the family violence, the slapping of the children left and right - I could not stomach it.
I am so obsessed with this series. It's been a while since I've binge watched something so religiously. It has me in a chokehold. And I did not even get mad about the legs position in the sex scene in ep 8, I just smiled indulgently. On to episodes 9 and 10 now, so I won't be reading the comments yet.
Oh my god. I have just watched the first episode, and my jaw is on the fucking floor! And I am spectacularly pissed that I found a recommendation for the series on TikTok on accident. That kid, who plays Sun - mind blown!!! He is soooo goood! That being said, if the next episodes go downhill, I really do not know what I'm gonna do. I'll probably denounce all BL and join a convent,
