hmmm....I actually see her character as more of a victim of circumstances. Ep. 12, flashback, she relied on HJ…
Yes, somewhat agree with both. Keeping in mind though, not everyone in life is wise to know who or what to choose in their lives. Let alone make the right decisions. This is when life experiences come in, and one will grow through the pain, which IH had, and is experiencing. So, she is growing up and she is now doing her best to make it on her own as she breaks free and try to be independent.

This drama is so remarkable at all levels and I am really glad that the writers made sense of every character, giving them each their own challenges and their own story to tell.

As seen in the starting episodes, Hoo Joon feels hurt and betrayal as his ex-In Hyung left him for his friend…
yah! he so into GY, so nervous if she does not respond positively to him. GY was slightly jealous when he shared about how he felt bad for IH in the past. GY found it un-comfortable to hear and wanted to go to sleep instead. So, HJ felt her anxiousness and as an afterthought worried that he may have said the wrong thing. He cares so much for GY feelings (....sigh)

Why no one is mentioning the toxic character of IH. She only care about herself. Nothing else. Even JJ is better…
hmmm....I actually see her character as more of a victim of circumstances. Ep. 12, flashback, she relied on HJ whose career suddenly skyrocketed and decided to stay loyal with the company that trained him. She then chose to be with JJ, who till today believes that she does not truly love him to the point of madness and jealousy, to which the show keeps me locked in thinking, if it is love that JJ seeks or anger towards HJ who did not join his company at the crucial time he needed HJ the most. It does appear that HJ is aware that it is a bit of both. So, HJ has stayed respectful, so far, to both IH and JJ. By relying on others, and falling into an abyss of circumstances, I can see IH struggling in each episode and now trying to go independent. I hope the writers will give her a nice little rainbow, at the end of the tunnel.

Join the crowd, we are waiting anxiously too. Such a refreshing drama right? Love it.
The leads are well suited for this drama. I really like CTJ/HJ's body language with GY/SY, so naturally wanting to hold and kiss her like any boyfriends would do. In most of the other dramas, the leads movement appears pretty calculated.... but not with CTJ :))

yes, glad HJ and GY are sharing more now and proof to be a good team. GY also show she has good instincts once she gets some understanding of the situation. I liked she stayed firm, went with HJ to the hospital and volunteered to stay overnight with IH, separating him from IH so as not to open up himself to paparazzi slandering news. Of course, with a little personal reasons too as she can see IH is not quite over him yet. GY is gutsy, real and cute too, which is why HJ is so drawn to her.

I love his manager heheheHis so cute and protective of Hoo JoonAnd he knows there something goingon bet the two...
Yes, thank goodness for his manager Ji Hyang. He has HJ's best interest at heart and knows what kind of people to not surround him with. Stands firm! ..... (ahem)....yes, and he is pretty good looking too...

Can't wait for ep 11 but the main lead keeps on going back to his ex gf while he flirts and play with the female…
As seen in the starting episodes, Hoo Joon feels hurt and betrayal as his ex-In Hyung left him for his friend JJ seeking fame and thinking that JJ loves her. As Hoo Joon has a better understanding of the entertainment industry, he could see that JJ is not helping In Hyung. With In Hyung being his first love, Hoo Joon still cares for her well being and gets upset when he sees In Hyung being taken advantage of by JJ. But, every time he tries to help her, JJ trashes him up and warns him to stay away. JJ vows to take everything Hoo Joon cared for due to his enviousness of his success. When In Hyung realizes her mistake, she tries to reach out to Hoo Joon again, but in love, Hoo Joon has emotionally moved on, but still cares for her as a friend. So, there is no going back for Hoo Joon. It is Guen Young all the way now. I anticipate that some mis-understandings will come up soon, as JJ is also going to try take Guen Young (who is clueless about this) away from Hoo Joon. Looking forward to see how Hoo Joon will protect her. It is ALL GOING DOWN in the coming episodes!!!! … I hope.

Just wanna say thanks for the comment. I was kind'f so angry on WJ, and I still am, but will take it easy coz…
I just love this platform. It is a great place for us to escape into, a healthy space to voice our opinion and thoughts. And the best thing is, there is no right or wrong as everyone feels and see things differently. With all the hours we spend watching the dramas and movies, it is hard not to be invested in the story and the characters. Without all of us, where would all these dramas, actors, director be? And we would be no where without them, in our greatest form of 'escapism' ... watching dramas. Six more episodes to go, to the end of the drama.....look forward to more opinions and views...

For me, this drama is so well written, I cannot help but want to share my thoughts of the drama thus far.......

I like the Hoo Joon celebrity character, who carries a hurtful heart and understanding the price he has to pay to be famous. His defensive and distancing nature does depict a lot of celebrities who are often hurt and betrayed by people who are close around them. Often they try to portray being cool and aloof. So, I GET this character. I get that in the entertainment industry, it is not advantageous to appear 'weak' as the wolves will eat you up. I can also see him going all out to protect the person he loves, something he was not able to do in the past. He will do so in the future episodes.

But, I also like how Geun Young's character was written. She was not an easy person to start with, as you can see from the early episodes. Ambitious and naïve, she is an emotional writer who actually wrote a BIG story on Hoo Joon without checking the facts. Causing un-necessary attention (which is what a lot of paparazzi do) and hence gaining herself the title of "anti-fan". "Placing herself right into the puddle!" Geun Young made her choice to join the reality show.
She could have said 'no' even if she was down and out with no job, as she could always go home to her loving parents. But, I was tickled when she chose to join the reality show, I somehow felt that there was already A LOT of attraction between her and Hoo Joon on Episode 1, when he stepped out of the car and bump into Geun Young outside the Club where he was attending a press conference. She might cry and whine as the episodes go (as she gets a taste of her own medicine), but she is also punching back to Hoo Joon as and when the opportunity arise. So, she is not a weak nor a person being abused. She is one tough dame in my eyes.

So, for me, this is where the 'magic' lies, between a put on arrogant front of a celebrity who has a heart of gold, wanting to love and be loved AND a tough and vulnerable reporter who does not even know how much she is attracted to him....but now un-folding.

This is why I LOVE the energy of the these two main leads. They might not be the best looking pair, but the written chemistry for them is just so well played. Choi Tae Joon is perfect in his role, as he knows how to bring out the best with the actors around him. He is just that good.

I am so looking forward to the next episode!

Sorry guys but i love it. How i missed the good old days of kdramas. From Coffee prince to Full house..two people…
Don't feel bad for loving it! Because A LOT OF US like this drama as well. And you are right about everything. Simple good ole' cliche story of slow progression from hate to love.

This my best rom-com drama of 2021. Every week does not fail to disappoint. Episode 9 went by so fast, so delightful to watch, and Soo Young's (Geun Young) bell cut pants really look good on her long legs. Episode 10 made me laugh and giggly inside as Tae Joon's character 'goes for the girl' and have to deal with her possessive parents! Tae Joon (Hoo Joon) maneuvered his "A" game and got the girl! Yes, a breath of fresh air and a must watch!!!

Going with the flow, BOOM episode 8, love it, and still going strong for me. The main leads just does it well episode after episode. The energy they play off each other is just perfect.
