On Love Like the Galaxy: Part 2 Mar 25, 2024
Can someone recommend me some historical/costume c-drama?

Drama that I enjoy:
- Love Like the Galaxy
- Wonderland of Love

I prefer drama with happy ending (open ending is still okay), the leads don't have to be a couple in early episode but always have many interactions from the start.

What do you mean? "Previews?" or Reviews? or Episodes?
He replied because he understood English. You wrote both previews & reviews, hence the question.

Title Snowdrop
Sorry, can someone fill me in on the controversy of how this is historically wrong? I remember seeing it in a…
After the controversy died down all can be boiled down to:
1. Snowdrop is not historically wrong because it is not based on historical event. It is a fiction with background around 1987 Korean election. (Just like any other fiction drama with Joseon era as background ex: king's affection, 100 days my prince, etc.)

2. 'Historically wrong' accusation is already happening in late march 2021 when the drama STILL FILMING (filming: October 2020 - July 2021). Controversy with Jisoo's character name, Eun Young-cho, similar to actual student activist Chun Young-cho happened about a week afterwards. JTBC released statement that the character name was not a reference (Jisoo character is not a student activist) but they will change the name.

3. Election time is near in Korea. The opposition party is using the buzz to weaken the popularity of the ruling party with the premise that this drama historical distortion is benefiting & cleaning the ruling party history.

4. The Blue House petition number must be taken with A LOT grain of salt because everybody on planet earth can sign it i mean even foreigners. Also don't forget that Jisoo is a member a Blackpink so it comes with a huge amount of hate from certain k-pop fandom.

5. All the early article is reporting about someone accusing snowdrop of historical distortion (click-bait) not actually checking if the accusation hold it's merit. Then it became trending & some casual reader take it as a fact without even watching the drama.

I'm seeing that this is available on Netflix, but it is available on NF in the US? And if so, what the heck weird…
"Prison Playbook" is the official english name given by the production company not Netflix. "Wise Prison Life" was just a temporary name used as english reference based on literal translation.

Idk why people hate Suzy so much? Maybe because she is very popular or she knows handsome idols and you will never…
Yes, the director knew she is popular & that's it.
I personally think that Suzy acting is a bit hit or miss. She will do a good job for a simple character.
