I agree, this show is by far my favourite of the four, but I am extremely worried about the finale.
I just so desperately hope we don't get whole breakup because of guilt tripping sick relative and then last second "redemption" scene (I will never call those moments redemption arcs, it is never an arc, nor are they ever really redeemed).

"I quit my monotonous job and am now freelancing in a field I love that funds me enough to have a nice place but now I have to trash all my equipment and abandon all my clients..."
Look I love these shows, I have watched a whole bunch but every time this happens the little string in my brain holding my sanity together frays just a little bit more.
I'm a westerner so I'm fully aware I'm viewing Thai media through that lens but I'm really curious how the average Thai viewer feels about the really really extreme (again, from a western POV) filial piety stuff cause it absolutely drives me up the wall whenever a grown ass independent adult obeys without question.

I know nothing about how the law works in Thailand, but surely it is extremely illegal to imprison an adult against their will and even have bodyguards to stop them leaving?
