Really enjoyed this drama! ❤️ The story, casting, chemistry, and character development were all so well done. I especially loved how each character’s dreams and career aspirations were given importance and beautifully executed, making their individual journeys feel meaningful beyond the romance.
The friendships, different kinds of love, and personal growth made this such a warm and memorable watch. The characters were genuinely lovable, and the casting was perfect.
This is how his foul mouth bites what's left in their relationship. After failing, all she remembers is the stupid things he said to her. He could have warned her, could have just shut his mouth on the night she lost her dream. She was hurting, instead of running his mouth he could have just let her be or tell her what he said to Tracy. She has always been insecure and his foul mouth made it more hard for her. For once, he got to hear foul things from her and now he knows how it feels to hear things like this.
I wish when they made changes to Luke's character in drama, they should have done the same to Flora as well. Everything she is doing now was fair in novel but in drama it looks like she has issues. When you adapt a novel and make changes, do it well so we can see the reason behind the characters actions.
They are both red flags. No question there. Flora is insecure, afraid to voice out her love as she already feels she isn't equal to him in their relationship. She priorities her work more than anything and look up to him as her boss and someone who taught her alot. But that is also affecting their relationship as she can't tell apart between her boyfriend and boss. She is young, career driven and got into a situation ship too early. She doesn't know the depth of how much Luke cares for her and loves her (because he doesn't say it out loud). She is constantly belittled by him and is often called 'cheap, obedient, easy target, stupid' by him to her face. I don't think no one will ever give themselves fully to a person like that. So she keeps a part of herself out of his reach. She built a life without him earlier itself so that she doesn't loose herself because of him. She has her own flaws which is keeping this relationship from developing further, her insecurity and their power dynamic needs work to find that equal footing in their relationship.
Luke is caring, loving and protective but his foul mouth ruins and overshadows his love for her. He says one thing and does the opposite. He grew up where love wasn't really spoken out but still shown in actions which made him like this. He doesn't think from her side, or trusts her fully. He said it's a weekend relationship and to not be clingy and she never crossed that line even after being in a proper relationship. He calls her things he doesn't mean but she is already hurt. He assumes things but doesn't communicate enough to know her. He calls out on the way she dresses, her life outside him and makes her feel small constantly. It's just that he never gave a safe space for her verbally. Sometimes actions aren't enough, you really need to say it out loud for the other person to feel it. He really needs to work on this to be with her.
Even after 4 years, they speak different languages of love. But neither of them didn't really try to learn each other's language of love. You don't have to be perfect to be worthy of love, but you do have to be willing to grow for the love you want to keep.
I hope the movie director starts filming early so Lee Chan can pack his pretty suitcases and get the hell out of here. Hope he learns some manners and shit while he is out there. Bro needs to work on his trauma and stop depending random people to make him feel better. He really is ruining the friendship and kindness Hagi showed him as well as the support and respect Dareum still shows him. Now he is playing with another person's feelings to hurt ML and FL.
The new desperate ex really thinks she can just not look back for 15 years and expects Hagi to choose her when he is already in a relationship. I hope Hagi still holds his green flag high even after meeting her
I totally understand chan's villian arc lol. Imagine you like a girl in highschool but the girl starts dating…
Well, I think he knew Hagi liked Dareum even before Hagi himself realised it. He kept on crashing their conversations. He literally ruined Dareum's life and never reached out during those difficult times now he is still sabotaging her relationship for his peace of mind. I guess he is just a villian here too
Exactly. Instead of rethinking and working on his issues while dating and correct his actions, he is out there hurting the people that still cares about him even though he doesn't really deserve it. He literally had feelings for three people in th drama and still never really given any of them the respect and compassion they deserve. Now he is out there turning them against each other.
So Chan and Cho I is just the same. Atleast Cho I is his ex, somehow that explains her actions though not justifying it. But Chan doing the exact same thing to his bestfriend and FL who got ruined because of him only, instead of leaving her alone, this guy is hell bent on making her life a living hell. Da Reum was wrong, he ain't a good person,
Slowly slowly this drama is becoming my comfort drama. Even though they both haven't officially started their relationship, they really stole my heart. The maturity and consideration they bring into this is really nice to see for a change. The actors are doing such a commendable job portraying this characters. Their 11 babies are adorable as well. No unnecessary miscommunication. No childhood relation between characters. No love triangle. No unwanted issues or unnecessary characters. Just two people met by destiny and little bit of mistery, As someone who loves football, it's really interesting to watch it. Though I do really bad for Jason. Glad they give all the people who loves him closure.
Is it just me?!!! My blood pressure rises up with rage whenever SML shows up on screen. The fact I love the actor for his other role(Semantic Error) but in this drama, from Day 1 he gets on my nerves. He is always trying to have his ways imposed on FL and the fact that she lets him overstep is too much for me. And who is he to give such a hard time to our ML.
ML isn't really doing a good job in pursuing her, that's true. But that is struggling with his father's scam and brother lying to him all this while (Brother's reason is still very sus, he could have started being good to ML atleast from the time they met before wedding)
Don't even get me started on FL, she is spineless fooool. I think she wants both of them, one to look after Woojo and one to date.
Only thing that is good to see is glimpses Woojo here and there. Broo, it was supposed to be his show!!!!
At this point, I don't think it's fair even if FL ends up with ML in last episode, last minute. Every scene we expect to see them together, SML shows up. Let them be together and give us the last 2 episodes with Woojo and his uncle. They both deserve to have their screen time.
Episode 4 really blew my mind. It was packed with emotional depth, heart warming moments and showcased starting of intense chemistry between the leads. Though in legal records, may be she is a thief or a fraud, the housekeeper went above and beyond for a little angel. The lawyer and associates who held their breath and anger in front of the bloody father but gave him a taste of his own medicine. The way ML apologised the very next second to FL and the way she was confused by his actions but still stood by his side. And together they all showed kindness to that little girl. I loved every moment. Bloody might be thicker than water but sometimes water holds you when blood lets you sink.
An eye for an eye. A tooth for a tooth. True to it's title.
PS. I'm glad they showed that the ex wife didn't cheat on him. But she is really toxic that not only she married their common friend and is pregnant now. She didn't have the decency to let the ML know about the existence of their baby and abortion in the past.

Definitely going on my re-watch list! 🥹❤️

I hate it so much. The FL went through so much because of him. I don't how people still like him
Someone please ship him to LA.
