I think this is quite a popular theory on Twitter right now. And that it's somehow related to SJ trauma . His short flashbacks had film lights alongside the glass breaking and I don't think its a coincidence that they showed us that + what the villagers said + JW asking SJ to stay away from the villagers.

I agree 100%. I do like these sort of stories and they're more realistic than the happily ever after stories . The show is presenting it really amazingly and has gravitas . However this is still a BL show where the first season was mostly soft and fluffy with some angst so I can see how the utter destruction of the couple with no end or happy ending in sight is hard to take for some people since the tv show didn't start from the destruction of their relationship like Marriage Story but we got to see them get together and rooted for them.
But I'm definitely invested even if a sad ending would probably leave me with a bit of a bitter taste.

I agree. I also think SJ was doing too much since episode 3 but that's his personality ( his overbearingness is probably his biggest flaw) . I just hope episode 6 was his final straw and he'll let go and if they'll get back together it will be JW coming after him and putting in work.

But I agree if it was me in his stead I probably would have walked out after coming to his house in episode 1/2 and never looked back .

I mean that's not really what I said. I agree with you. I usually avoid shows that are fluffy exactly because of this , I don't care for the fairytale characters but I still think they took JW too far by making him far too cruel in these two episodes because the relationship turned toxic at this point imo and I think that's why people are turning against him and not necessarily because they need perfect characters and perfect relationships. Or at least that's what I got from this forum, reddit and twt mostly .

I think the flashback from episode 4 ( glass breaking, power lights that I assume is filming lights/lightning) mean they'll dive into it in the next 4 episodes. Hopefully

Did his parents ditch him? I forgot. I thought they just died and this is how he remained alone and SJ parents were the ones that ditched him for Italy. Correct me if I'm wrong tho.

I understand what you mean , not all characters are perfect and flawed characters are more interesting but I think they took JW a bit too far with his behavior He's been cruel to SJ for a lot of the season so I think his seemingly ( probably a facade imo) lack of compassion towards what he did/is doing to SJ and his continued remarks turn people off his character at this point.

Possible. They've been laying down some hints in the last episodes that lead me to believe this could happen. Although it would be a contrived plot twist. I guess it depends how they handle it.

also i dislike the amount of screentime the ex, kid and mom get. idgaf abt them at all why do ik the ex played volleyball but not why seojoon has panic attacks//

this. This was my issue with this season from the start. They should have spent more time showing us Jiwoo's perspective/ his and SJ individual trauma if they wanted us to understand him than giving us moments with these people who are let's be honest mostly useless to the story. I still have hope that we'll find out about SJ trauma and JW parents next 2 episodes but if we don't until the end of the season I'll get pissed

I agree I found that the lowest blow too... I guess the rest you can put on JW having deep issues and so on but that? Not really unless he lied about feeling lonely in the relationship..

At this point I don't either and I think this is a mistake on the shows part because there's no part of me rooting for JW right now... They should have shown his perspective more ... I hope they start with the redemption next episode because they'll need all the screentime possible to make me root for them to get back together again...
