omgosh!!! thank you for saying that. I had the exact same feeling watching the last 4 episodes. It was like I was watching an entire different drama. even their personalities changed.. gosh. so disappointing :(

what a masterpiece. both jingyi and yiran gave incredible performances (and the actress playing her mom of course). I think this is one of their best roles yet. Really deserved a higher rating

I think she feels dependent on him. That’s my guess. But I might be wrong. Cause the entire narrative she told our FL about her being a “stray pet” project to him kinda smells like jealousy and her being possessive of him, which can mean she likes him romantically too

I think she wants him close to her at all times. not necessarily romantically. She grew up depending on him and she can’t imagine not having him around. that’s my guess..

Wei Yan has the best character development I’ve seen so far from a supporting character. I can’t believe I hated him at first only to love him later.

I’m super disappointed in Liu Haocun too. I don’t understand why she took this role after reading the script. I loved her in a movie about cancer patients called Little Red Flower. She was phenomenal in that role and she had plenty of chemistry with the ML. I’ve watched both Kdramas and Cdramas with romance and zero kissing scene with very good chemistry. But just as you said, this drama is called Be Passionately in love. Romance and passion is the entire plot here. Such a shame.
