I’m so glad I didn’t read the novel. I made that mistake with a Korean drama , When the phone rings and it ruined the adaptation for me. so I said, never again. Only if people are swearing the novel is ten times better. It’s good that you didn’t finish it at least.
I haven’t seen a FL so well written like this one in a while. She’s smart, cunning and kind too. She supports him but also tries to help her family too.
But what I love the most about her is that whenever he does something “mean” or wrongs her in any way, she tries to excuse his actions in front of others. She doesn’t throw a tantrum like other FL but tries to see beyond his actions and puts herself in his shoes. And that’s another level of badass. She wins best FL character in my book for this year.

I’ve only watched Reply 1988 out of these dramas. But I loved the pace in that one. I’m usually a fan of slow paced slice of life dramas. But I don’t know why here, I keep waiting for something more to happen..
