I think you are right. Something is wrong with this drama and it’s not Arthur’s acting. The plot is full of cliche, that’s true, but I also think the directing is bad.

I personally don’t have any problem with the “lack of romance” as some are claiming in the comments. I actually like the slowburn. And even if they give us only one episode or two with romance, that’s enough for me.
Them being in a very unique relationship of enemies and allies at the same times, just makes sense that the focus is not on romance.
