I haven’t watched Go Ahead yet and I’m not a fan of Hwang In Youp as I haven’t watched any of his dramas. So I can say I’m unbiased going in. I am a huge fan of Cdramas though and I love that they are more slow paced and have more character development. My favorite drama ever is a Cdrama. But I would never compare a Cdrama to a Kdrama. They are very very different imo. The first two episodes of this drama impressed me a lot. For me it’s already the best Kdrama I’ve seen this year. Or at least in top 3. I just hope it continues to stay as good. I wish people will stop fighting in comments and just watch it for what it is. The rating keeps going lower probably because of the original Cdrama fans downrating it out if hate or frustration. Not really fair as it just started.

I don’t know if you’re replying here to me or to the original poster. But I personally haven’t seen Go Ahead, and I’m also not a fan of the main actor here in the Korean remake. So, you can’t say I’m biased. I’m going in blind. for me the first two episodes were stellar. especially the first, the child actors did an incredible job. I was shocked by how good they are.
I absolutely love Cdramas, even more than Kdramas, as my favorite ever drama is Chinese. I also love the fact that Cdramas are most slow paced and have more depth because of that. But I will never compare a Cdrama with a Kdrama. they are entirely different genres almost in my head.

that’s why I’ll hype it even more. fans of the Cdrama hate it already without reason. I don’t understand why they have to constantly compare it. don’t watch it if you don’t want to. this is just troll behavior

super weird to have the girl that was just abused by her ex husband thrown in a romance reality show?!!!
I had such huge second hand embarrassment when they were all shipping them together minutes after she was beaten up. super tone deaf on the writers

someone in the comments below said that the novel ends with them together, but it can be seen as an open ending too. I’ll take an OE over a SE anyday

same here. I don’t see that intense chemistry everyone is talking about in the comments here. yes, the skinship is great. kisses are very jdrama, which I love. but chemistry.. not so much, for me personally

If she’s engaged with the SML but doesn’t truly love him (and that’s the feeling I got. that she was somehow bored around him) then it’s better if they break up. I don’t even know why they are together honestly..

I had a feeling from the first episode that it will be too sad. I like angst.. but this gives me very “sad ending vibes”

I have the same feeling too. just like her dad and the woman from Kyoto. and for that reason I’m gonna wait until the rest of the episodes are out
