Title Intimate Strangers Spoiler
I think she obviously has some son issues. She said her baby died when he was only 3 months old but at the end, a boy called who was her son and told her how he needed money for the university, etc. So, I'm thinking...is that her actual son and she would lie to the scam artists to kill them bc she enjoyed the taste of blood and is a serial killer or was it a kid that was a scam artist who just...never found out about the dead bodies and she ended up raising him???

I was really hoping for the boy to come out of it alive. We didn't have time to get attached to Shinpei but seeing Inoue's story is so awful. She targeted boys that had no parents or family and they seemed caged and/or hunted down by their bosses. And she specifically targeted boys employed by a specific criminal, the one who she cut his face. The lady made me feel SOOOOOOO uncomfortable (ofc that means she's a good actress) but holy...the fact that she kept comparing him to her son but then she wouldn't bat an eyelid when she placed her legs around him in the bathroom was SOOOO unsettling.

The painting seen throughout the movie is Pity by William Blake, 1975. It's an illustration from Macbeth. You can look it up but basically...a female cherub snatches a baby from a mother. My interpretation to link it in this movie is that in the painting, the woman/mother is either dead or doesn't do anything to grab the baby back as her hands aren't outstretched. The mother in the movie could have interpreted it as in "mothers who abandon their children are not worthy, i have their children now and i shall pity them." which would fit her narrative.

I’ve just finished watching it thanks to rjgman56subs ! I’m always searching for unique Asian movies since…
I was thinking he probably saw a head in a box or any body part of Shinpei that pointed that she had offed him, so basically...male lead had to die.

Unless they actually looked into every single participant and had solid evidence that they were participating…
You don't have to be celeb-obsessed to know what's going on with Diddy. What are you talking about? He was on the news in my country, everyone is talking about his accusations. I don't need to follow his work to understand that two charges are maybe coincidence but three is a pattern.

MY opinion and MY view on things is: I saw him beating his girlfriend, I'm not surprised by the rest of the accusations. Do I care whether or not he's found guilty or innocent? No. I care that he's immoral. And don't come back at me with the whole "who establishes what's moral and immoral?" It's violence.

All we do right now is you bashing me for MY opinion. And you're a nobody to me. If you didn't want to hear my opinion, you could scroll your merry way to whichever rock you crawled out of but you chose to say YOUR opinion followed by unwarranted insults. And I don't care to hear it, man.

You claim I know more about the matter and yet you don't quit yapping about it. I can imply what I want about the accusations presented in front of me and MAYBE I would have given him the benefit of the doubt if it was a first-time accusation but 'assault' had a video attached to his name (and I don't care if they settled it out of court).

I'll save you the trouble. I'm not changing my mind about my implications and you can run your 'stinky, slimy fingers' on your keyboard as fast as you want, typing other dull insults, 'cause apparently the only head you use to label anything is the downstairs one.

This ends here for me. Ta leme, syntekne.

I was referring to my original post and not my comments.

Let's see what he was found guilty of with FACTS. What about the video of him beating his then girlfriend?

I rest my case. That's enough for me to have his career destroyed. He can rot.

His mediocre apology statement in which he acted worse than Tommy Wiseau didn't prove shit. At least Tommy made me laugh. Your comments do too. Keep it up.

First of all, take a step back with this attitude. I don't care about your P.Diddy. You're off subject completely. I mentioned solely people who were PROVEN to take part in such heinous acts.

Lash out your crusade train elsewhere, somewhere within the walls of TikTok or YouTube (specifically the video in which Diddy spends 48 hours with Justin Bieber - a MINOR - in his house without cameras).

It's no longer a gut feeling. He's criminal. If you want to be blind, it's not my headache.

YES!! Anyone else I’m missing?
Nope. They are ALL perfect! I also really enjoy Narimiya Hiroki though he left the industry. He was accused of illegal drug abuse but it was later proven that he was framed by a bitter ex.

So, you got....Yokohama Ryusei, Satoh Takeru, Fukushi Sota and I am IMMEDIATELY IN LOVE!!! but then you also have Haruma Miura (I still cry every time I see him) and I was IMMEDIATELY sold with Kamio Fuju. Such underrated baby. AND THEN DEAN FUJIOKA??? Please, take my money and my heart.

I agree with you, though I was never a fan of P.Diddy. I guess you can call it a gut feeling because there was always something telling me to steer away from him.

Thank you also for hearing me out and being just as kind and respectful. Which is very sad because that should be the bare minimum but that's a huge conversation for another time. 💙💙 Have a wonderful time!

I definitely agree with you on that one. You're absolutely right. Idols are used as shields to protect higher-ups and they take the fall because while international fans who place idols on a pedestal seek justice for the victims, they don't much care for the higher-ups as they aren't involved in anything else when it comes to Korea other than idols and k-pop.

I understand you, I agree, yes!

It's not something new but Kris Wu had been with EXO for very little time and Himchan was with BAP less time than Taeil had been with NCT. Himchan also had problems with the law with drunk driving before his sentence and Kris was barely known internationally by people before EXO became known in the west market. Meanwhile, Taeil had 8 years of no scandals, no problematic behavior whatsoever, crystal clear criminal record. It was someone that people never expected to be vile. Not to mention that people were sympathizing with him prior to being accused because he had a motorcycle accident (seemingly having a hard time, etc.) so it came like a boulder to the head.

I know about the case in France and the whole deepfakes incident, it happens in Greece as well (where I'm from). It is truly awful what is happening. Indeed, the influential people are protected until they aren't (like the Burning Sun scandal).

Taeil is the former member of a k-pop group called NCT. He was reported of sexual assault and he was immediately kicked out. It shook the whole industry and the fans and there was this over-exaggeration where everyone lost trust no matter if someone truly was innocent. And I believe that isn't fair to those that are TRULY innocent. I believe it's awfully wrong to then start blaming everyone or seeing everyone under a bad light, laced with paranoia and distrustful behavior. However, that's my opinion and I understand not everyone feels the same way because it's a serious issue.

My point is: I do agree that 'it could be anyone'. I don't agree that 'it is everyone'. It's very different and can mislead so many people. Saying that it's everyone could mean that it's everyone from the k-pop industry or every politician or whoever. And with these cases, idols, politicians, athletes, etc. shouldn't be thrown in the same pod. Because not everyone is guilty. And because they're serious accusations (not actually directing this to you, I'm referring to the frenzy that is going on generally on social media).

I'm very curious as to why they decided to not talk about the kind of people involved in this. There were powerful…
Unless they actually looked into every single participant and had solid evidence that they were participating or watching, they couldn't possibly reveal as it would indeed mean lawsuits. They had far too many chat rooms and far too many watchers. They had to look up at names, find out IP addresses, some of them may even use stronger means to hide themselves, so that would potentially mean a separate investigation for every single one in order to make the list. It would legit mean building a team solely for the Nth Rooms Cases. Honestly, I don't know if the nth rooms are still up. Nobody can guarantee that Baksa or GodGod didn't send a letter to anyone with their credentials to go and log out of the rooms which would mean deleting all chat history.

If they didn't reveal important names officially, they probably didn't have solid evidence. I understand the whole world was shaken because of this but I refuse to believe that "it's everyone". There is already too much damage done and by mentioning categories of important names cause ppl to exaggerate and place literally EVERYONE in a pod. Especially since it's 2024 and since Taeil's charges everyone is on TikTok now, mentioning a supposed Nth List Reveal which is nothing but untrue. There's a lot of misinformation and disinformation going around.

I support the Nth List Reveal far too much. I just want it to be done correctly and without leaving any single doubt in people's minds about it with solid evidence and proof or else false accusations about this not only can be damaging to someone's career but life as well.

Exactly !! Where are they?? As a Kdrama viewer I try to watch even the underrated ones but as you mentioned there…
I agree with you, and honestly, I can understand the audience adoring rom-coms and writers and directors seeing that not only it sells, but they eat it up...but I hope they will finally realize that they can do MIRACLES in the dark/thriller/mystery/horror genre, as well! Let's hope for it.
