This drama is far from perfect but entertaining. I think they handled romance part well.

I think it's completely writers fault.

They changed her character arc completely after initial eps. Her character transition has no proper sync.

It's clear they wanted ml character to be centre of everything in the process they sacrifices fl character arc.

They even throw out her ex husband character like a useless tissue paper.

I think i can assume cheating, miscarriage plays big part in this drama. Also there will be a 2ml who follows fl like a shadow.
