GMM released 13 teaser trailers last year for 13 of their 2019 shows (Wonder 13). At that time, most of those shows hadn’t even started “true” shooting, and the trailers were really just “mock up” trailers to promote their 2019 lineup as an event.
So if you actually go back and watch those trailers now, you’ll see many of them have differences from what ended up being released (for those already released, like 3 Will Be Free) and expect those that have yet to be released to be somewhat a bit different also (ex. Dark Blue Kiss and One Night Steal wrapped up shooting so new official trailers will likely be out soon; The Sand Princess already released a new trailer, too).
So in all likelihood, the synopsis here was based on the old trailer before the actual shooting took place and changes were made to the story.

As a gay man, I can confirm it can be a term of endearment between gay lovers who are not necessarily trans. I called an ex of mine wifey. It had nothing to do with top/bottom. Love Tay and Mild, but we can’t compare their chemistry here and in Kiss because they had different partners there (New and Mek) plus there was never any indication of sexual tension between Pete and Sandee there. They were clearly very good friends, nothing more, so no sexual chemistry was there.
Although at times dragging, overall this was a nice concept. Maybe they can do 3 participants next time instead of 5 because sometimes, due to the number of plots/subplots, you tend to forget what’s happening with the others until they appear again (often after long stretches of time/sequences).
I definitely want to see a Season 2. Since we’ve seen Vietnam, Macau, Singapore, and Japan this season, hopefully we see Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, and Korea next time.

Can’t disagree regarding Pluem and Mild in Happy Birthday. They definitely made that show excellent. One of the best last year, and I can’t imagine anyone else in the role of Tonmai. And besides, IF they did give him a choice between a leading role in HB vs. a secondary role in The Gifted, it would make sense to choose the leading role.
I’m a bit disappointed that this year so far Pluem doesn’t have any leading role like he did in HB. He’s at best second lead in the upcoming One Night Steal. He’s gotten accolades for his work on HB (deservedly so) and thus kind of sad he doesn’t have many high-profile roles/projects this year.
I’ll just assume he’s busy with his studies (he’s not been too active in social media earlier this year and only started regaining more visibility around Songkran onwards). I believe he’ll be graduating soon (by my estimate) so it makes sense.
As for Gun, I agree he did very well as Punn but there’s just something I can’t quite put my hands on. Maybe it is the age and that colors my view; he’s closer to Victor’s age IIRC so I guess it kind of takes away from me. But that’s just me.
Also, am I the only one who thinks Pluem Purim would've fit into the cast? Considering pretty much the rest of the main My Dear Loser E17 cast other than Plustor are on it? Chimon, Nanon, Puimek, Jane.
I kind of suspect he was considered for a role (perhaps Punn, because I feel Gun seems somewhat out of place, just my personal opinion) - but Pluem may have been busy with Happy Birthday (where he's the lead - and incidentally, Plustor's also in Happy Birthday).
Would've been even more awesome since I really think Pluem, Chimon, Nanon, and Puimek have awesome chemistry as a group.
That said, regardless of that missed opportunity for a full reunion, The Gifted is great and we need a second season. Maybe we can get Pluem and also Plustor to join the sequel.

They were only "sort of" dating. In was still confused and didn't want to label what they had. It continued in their cameo in Happy Ever After; clearly, In considered Sun more than a friend, but he was still too scared to label it or admit what his true feelings were.
Is it just me or does anyone else hate Mushroom. He even lies to his "friends." I would not be friends with him.
None of the 3 people in the straight love triangle are really likeable. Copper is a bully, Peach has no backbone and doesn’t stand up for Oh, and Oh - while somewhat sympathetic as a bullying victim - is also spineless AND as someone mentioned creepy and stalkerish, trying to get someone else’s girlfriend.
It’s the BL love triangle that saves this series. They should have been the main plot. Ainam is the perfect girl best friend, Sun is relatable and selfless, and In changed into a better person and was adorable (if somewhat clueless and occasionally insensitive).

Watch it for In/Sun. The straight storyline is indeed full of unlikeable characters - Peach, Copper, and even Oh. InSun saved this series for me, and their story is significantly better than the main one. Even Ainam is great.
I’ve been to Thailand several times and will be returning soon. I’ve been to Bangkok (obv), Chiang Mai, Hua Hin, and Kanchanaburi.
I’m returning soon and planning to include Chiang Rai and Ayutthaya. However, after watching the InSun episode of OurSkyy, I’m now planning to include Prachin Buri! It’s apparently just 2.5 hours from Bangkok.
So... does anyone know what those places in Prachin Buri are that they went to? Definitely want to do the river as well as the falls and that cliff overlooking the province where In tried to kiss Sun.
And if anyone knows what that resort is where they stayed (the one that lent them the speedboat), that would also help. ????
