I agree! Even her little gestures is so on point. There's not even one scene that she looks awkward, it's like she has really absorbed her role completely. And the male lead is doing great as well. Whether he acts immature, playful, or serious, his acting is flawless, nailed all of it! Oh, when can I watch another drama as good as this and with leads as great as them. 🥹

His innocent eyes looks deceitful. I can't really explain it, but although he looks pure, I see dark and evil aura around him??? It's like watching a two-faced character I want to punch so hard. Second mls from other dramas I watched at least had pure intentions towards the FL. But this guys looks like he has some hidden agendas, and the way he looks at my Li Rong gives me creeps. What also annoys me about him is the fact that he may be aware that LR and PWX have feelings for each other and yet he expresses his longing for her. Like can't he just back off??? And I doubt his feelings for her is sincere. I've got a long list of my most my hated second female leads, but I've never hated a second male lead as much as I hate him. 😂

I have never read the novel, but since you said this, then the actor is doing a good job indeed. He has not done anything evil so far (in the timeline when the leads went back to the past), but seeing his face annoys me so much. 😂

Wow, I'm loving this drama. It's been so long since I was like this, excitedly looking forward to new eps of a cdrama. It keeps climbing the ranks of my favourite dramas list, if it keeps being this good until the last ep, this may become my most favourite drama of all time. This is my first time watching these actors' works, (I actually watched Jinmai first in Amidst a Snowstorm of Love but it wasn't my cup of tea and I felt uncomfy by ml acting so I dropped it after ep 4) and I wanna say that Linghe and Jinmai act so well! I love ML so much, his personality is so unique from the previous MLs' I watched who are usually cold and quiet.

And by the way, RONGQING ANNOYS ME SO MUCH!!! WHENEVER HE APPEARS ON MY SCREEN, I FEEL LIKE PUNCHING MY PHONE!!! I usually feel heartbroken towards second MLs, but whenever they show a heartbreaking scene of him, instead of feeling sad for him, I feel delighted! He annoys me sooo much!!! Grrrr!

I was really looking forward to this drama that I hurriedly watched when it dropped the first few eps. I love Wulei and I recently just fell in love with Jinmai when I saw her in clips from their variety show (it was like love at first sight) but man this drama is not it 😭 I dropped at ep 4, I can't find the excitement to continue. Is it just me but I felt uncomfortable with wulei's acting. I was expecting that I'd be drawn to this drama, but it didn't give me the feelings I expected. Many said this is a good drama, so maybe I just judged too early. I'm willing to watch this again if I don't have any other dramas to watch or catch up to.

I heard a lot about it but never really got the chance to watch it. But since you say so, I will give it a try!

I started this drama with absolutely zero expectations, I just saw Zhou Ye and so I clicked watch. But man, I got so hooked! When I saw the cover, I knew the ML was Wang Xing Yue. But when I actually watched the drama, I was so confused when I saw Zhong Yelan. I really thought Zhong Yelan is the ML cuz he's the first guy to appear, had that main character air around him, and the FL married him! But I was so confused because the actor who played Zhong Yelan is not Wang Xing Yue, so I was like, "oh maybe what my eyes saw was wrong, the guy in this drama's cover was not WXY after all". I felt sooo much excitement while watching this drama, the chemistry between Qian and Yelan was OOZING AND OVERFLOWING. I craved to see more of them until Zhong Xi Wu appeared on my screen. I was like, "WXY??? So what I saw in the cover is really him??? He can't be the male lead right?? Is he third wheel or what? If he was, why is he the one in the cover with the FL?" I was confused even more lmaooo. His role really didn't feel like the ML at all. To be honest, when I finally figured out that he was the ML, I was thinking of dropping the drama because I already got really attached to my Qian x Yelan ship. But at the same time, I felt like challenging the drama writers. I was like, I'd like to see how they are gonna convince me to like Xiwu and ship him with Qian instead of shipping Yelan and Qian. In my mind, I concluded that it'd be impossible for me to jump ships cuz I've already become a Yelan simp but OH MY GOODNESS. As the episodes gone by, I just found myself giggling for Xiwu and Qian????!! I didn't realize when, but I started shipping Xiwu and Qian. I still simped for Yelan but no longer was I even interested to ship him with my Qian. In the last quarter of the drama, I really absolutely completely shipped Xiwu and Qian to the extent thay I searched YouTube videos of them. And btw, I really dislike RongZhou! I skipped most of his parts and their moments with the FL. Many times he doesn't know his place and is so stubborn but I gotta thank him for protecting and saving my Qian in many times. The ending of this drama didn't quite satisfy me (I WANT MORE XIWU AND QIAN MOMENTS!!!!) but it's okay. What matters is that I know she and Xiwu ended up together! Love ittt!

I think it's either in the episode before the last ep or in the last ep. The actress Sun Yi was there too, she also played a guest role.

Okay so these are just my honest thoughts. I was super looking forward to this drama because I love Zhou Ye. I do not know the male lead, it's the first time I saw him in a drama, but I think he's good-looking and that is why I was even more excited to watch this drama. The day it was released, I was so happy I immediately watched the first episode and I liked it. I really dislike heavy dramas and thrillers that gives me anxiety and stress so I was happy that I got to watch this relaxing and light-hearted drama. But the problem is, after a couple of episodes, my interest for this drama just dramatically decreased. I think it's too relaxing to the point that it has become boring for me. I don't mean to compare but I find this drama quite similar to Go Go Squid (on the part that FL is a fan of the ML) but it didn't take hold of my fancy as much as GGS did. I 100% dislike annoying FLs and Tong Nian of GGS was more annoying than Gu Sheng because of her antics but I didn't actually dislike her. Gu Sheng, on the other hand, behaves more maturely than Tong Nian but, for some reason, the way she reacts whenever ML Interacts with her, makes me slightly annoyed. Unlike in GGS, I never really felt a significant chemistry between the leads that could've made me crave for and look forward to the next episodes. Zhou Ye is one of my favourite actresses (her beauty is, in my own opinion, unmatched and her acting is far better than most actresses her age) but I guess this drama is not for me. But who knows, I might end up watching this again because I tend to pick up dramas I dropped, especially when I crave for certain "ingredients" in a drama like explosive visual leads, slow-paced, stress-free, and modern.

Me too! I knew from the start they aren't gonna end up together but I didn't expect I'd feel so sad and brokenhearted when they broke up. They dreamt of a future together, their love was youthful. They were kids who were forced to grow up and make mature decisions because of the circumstances surrounding them. They both gave up their ideal future for the sake of greater purposes. That made me cry so much T^T

I just discovered something amazing today! Okay so, I am a big Zhao Lusi fan so I watched Who Rules the World. Then I saw Feng Xiyun's (zhao lusi's character name) brother in that drama, and he immediately caught my eyes even before I knew he was Xiyun's brother. I was like, "oh, what a handsome and gentle-looking prince! He's from Qingzhou, he must be Xiyun's brother!" Then I found I was right, so I kept anticipating for his another appearance. So while I was waiting for new eps of Who Rules the World, there's this drama "You Are My Destiny" which keeps entering my thoughts. I wanted to watch it ever since 2020 cuz I liked it's cover but I found it's a remake and I have already watched the old korean version before (i really did not like that one) so I decided I will not watch it cuz I assumed it's not good. But then, last week, as I was scrolling through my WeTv app looking for dramas to watch while waiting for WRTW, I found You Are My Destiny. So I finally decided to give it a try and omg I LIKE IT!!!!! VERY UNEXPECTEDLY!!!! So in that drama there's this character Dylan who I grew to like but don't particularly want him to be with the FL, I just like him very much as her friend. I am enjoying the drama so far and I'm currently on ep 20, and just earlier, I decided to check for Who Rules the World new teasers. Then I found some vid in YT showing Xiyun's brother and it suddenly hit me... "he looks a lot like Dylan???" So I searched his profile in MDL and looked at the list of his dramas and BOOM! Dylan is Feng Xiyun's brother indeed! Omgggggg I'm so happy and so amazed. ❤️❤️❤️ What a small world 🤧

Hi, I'm sorry but I don't see any comments that are unhappy with Yixing as the ml. The only unhappy comments I read are directed towards the actor who was gonna play the ml, who was, at that time, not Yixing. Hehe. Now the actor playing the ml has been changed to Yixing and so far, I have not seen any unhappy comments. Just neutral ones.

It's okay, the first few eps kinda made me bored as well, but keep watching! There's gonna be more interesting scenes, uou will not regret watching the whole thing. <3

I read the first quarter of the novel, they are unrelated to each other. Bai Fengxi and Hei Fengxi are two of the four strongest in their world. They both have the same name "Fengxi", so people just call them Bai/Hei based on the color of the clothes that they like to wear; Bai is white, Hei is black. As for Feng Xiyun and Feng Lanxi, they are unrelated as well. I do not know any Chinese characters, but the translator of the novel put in the description that Xiyun's "Feng" and Lanxi's "Feng" are written differently in Chinese, they are not the same.
