What's Up is such a strange drama! I'm 30 minutes in and I have no idea what to think about it :p though, one of the character's is singing Phantom Of The Opera so I am giving it a two episode shot just cause that's my favorite broadway play ;) and its only 45 minute episodes :p

Yes, you have to watch the alternate ending, it's short, but awesome :) I can't wait for Minoz to get back, then we can finish Prosecutor Princess! You are in the middle of so many dramas, you must be losing your mind :p Though, I get it QIHM takes precedence :p

I think Faith is the perfect place to start with sageuks! It doesn't really feel like one, since the fantasy plays a big role. Plus, the costumes are for the most part, much better than a regular sageuk. I am not a fan of hanboks and crazy headdresses. Except for the King and Queen, and some random retainers, the costumes are really awesome looking :)

I think that might be why I am so anti-coffee prince, cause I feel so forced to get through it :p That stinks that Auction House seems so dissimilar! I hate dramas that don't have romantic storylines in them! That's what I love about kdramas, they focus so much more on the romance than American tv shows do. At least, in my opinion.

I started Jackal is Coming and dropped it about half way through! It wasn't bad, it just didn't hold my interest! And it didn't help that I have to watch it on my tablet if I want to watch it. I am much more likely to drop stuff from my tablet than on TV. I have been thinking about picking it back up since it's not that long.

Faith was my very first fusion sageuk (I don't count QIHM or Rooftop Prince since neither really spent much time in the past), and I just fell in love with it! I watched all 24 episodes in a 2 day crazy marathon, and I think that attributed to my obsession. It helped that it reminded me of a combination of my very favorite anime and RPG video game :p The story is full of more makjang than any present day melo, but because it's in a fantasy world it all seems so plausible :p

It does get really hard when there is nothing like it! Or what's worse, someone tells you something is similar and it's not!! So many people said that for Innocent Man and Missing You and I think that negatively impacted my oppinion of IM because they weren't similar! I have yet to find anything that is like QIHM, but I think My Girlfriend is a Gumiho is the closest! Have you seen Auction House? I saw someone recommended that for people who liked When It's At Night! I started it the other day, but it was too weird seeing the manager from You're Beautiful as a lead character!

I have tried starting Coffee House 3 times now, and I just cannot get into it! It kills me because so many people love it so much, and I love Yoon Eun Hye, but damn if I can't make myself watch that drama! I know if I could just get past the first episode, I could probably get into it, but for some reason, I can't :(

Honestly, Full Houe Take 2 isn't worth the time. I finished it in practically one sitting, so obviously there must be something redeeming about it since it held my attention, but heck if I know what that is :p Even as I was watching it, I couldn't figure out one single thing that I liked about it.

Sometimes it is so hard to get over the good ones! I remember after Faith it took me a whole month before I even wanted to look at another drama. And after Missing You, all I did for a week was go back and watch it all over again twice :p It's hard to get these worlds out of your head sometimes! let me know if that movie is good though! It sounds pretty interesting and after watching Finding Mr. Destiny (which I didn't like all that much, but the lead guy was pretty cute), I am willing to give more of his movies a shot :)

I will not worry about having skipped it, then :) I love Brendan Fraser, but I like the memory of the first two movies to be untainted. The Vineyard Man is really, really good! It sort of snuck up on me though. I dropped it during the first episode 4 times on different occasions, but I finally made it through the first episode and on to the second. And it did take several episodes before I really started to like it. Yoon Eun Hye's characters was just soooooo annoying to me! I hated her. She is a lot like her Take Care of the Young Lady snotty character, except more whiny and less physically capable. YEH's character in TCYL could totally kick ass. Her VM character not so much :p But if you don't mind skipping around, I would definitely skip most of the first 2 or 3 episodes. Once she gets to the vineyard it starts to get better. It's so funny, I found Oh Man Suk incredibly unattractive when I started the show. There are just too many flower boys to compare him to. But somewhere along the way, he became the most attractive character to me ever :) It's how sweet he is, and how forgiving and how naive he is. It's really sweet to watch him navigate this spoiled rotten girl.

Haha, poor Koo Hye Sun! People REALLY dislike her! When I first discovered this site, I was shocked by how many people hated her. Of course, I was a drama newb and didn't realize that Boys Over Flowers was pretty much garbage at the time. Now that I have more dramas under my belt, I can objectiely agree with how bad it is and how awful a job she does. And how annoying her Jan Di is. All of the reviews I have read seem to agree that her character in The Musical is annoying as well. But I have seen some screen caps from the drama, and it has me curious :) What's Up has a higher score, plus it has Oh Man Suk in it, and I have been dying to see him in another drama after The Vineyard Man! I have liked what musical dramas I have seen, though I did hate Full House Take 2. There was exactly ONE STINKING SONG that they played in the entire drama, and it was awful. And now, just typing those few sentences has ensured that I will have it stuck in my head all day long! :p You know, I never even found the desire to watch The Mummy 3! The second I saw that Rachel Weisz wasn't going to be in it, I decided not to watch it. I love Rachel Weisz, but she isn't exactly a big name. So you know if she drops out of it, then you know it must be a horrible script!

I don't know if I told you, or maybe Akumi did, but once you finish QIHM, you have to look up on youtube the extended/alternate ending. The director's cut of the ending is soooooooooooooo HOT!

I am so glad to hear it's so wonderful over there! I can't wait to hear more about your trip ;) I see you are almost done with QIHM! Episode 16 is sooooo good but it makes me cry so hard every time!! Don't forget to look up the alternate ending when you are done with it!

Hahaha, now you seriously have my interest piqued! I will definitely check it out tonight when I get home. This weekend was so insanely busy, I got no drama watching in at all. Which is actually OK since I am so up in the air on what I want to watch. I am considering watching The Musical or What's Up, cause I think a good song and dance drama is what I need! Though, I do want to check out When It's At Night first and give it a chance to grab me :) I tend to be a babbler too, so I definitely don't mind! I see Lyna recommended Rooftop Prince! It is a good drama, but I would watch Missing You first. Just because I think you will enjoy it more if you already love Yoochun ;)

Hahahah, I swear sometimes talking to you is like talking to myself! The Mummy and National Treasure movies were two of my favorite movies growing up! I could quote The Mummy I've seen it so many times! I had been eyeing When It's At Night for a while now, but I wasn't sure if it had a good romance storyline. I watched another episode of Innocent Man, I just can't decide if i want to just drop it already or not! I'm having a hard time picking anything else up! Nothing sounds good to me right now :( I did watch a movie with Song Joong Ki in it that was pretty great, Penny Pinchers. It was a quick, cute movie. I liked it a lot! Tax season is always miserable! The IRS made it worse for us this year, causing such confusion for next year has people worried about this year, and it took so long for companies to send out forms, so we didn't get busy til 2 weeks ago, which means its going to be really rough from here on with so many people getting us their stuff late. Oh, the life of a tax preparer :p

I think Innocent Man not being up my alley right now has more to do with mood than anything! Everything is so crazy hectic right now, in the little time I have for kdramas, I think I just want happy/silly not angsty/melo. Maybe after tax season I will give Innocent Man another shot. Song Joong Ki is too pretty to not try and make it through :p I haven't heard much good from anyone that I know has seen it. Though, the eyecandy is quite lovely in that show, I will admit! But I suffered through Me Too, Flower just for the same eye candy and it was not a lot of fun, and at least that one was only 16 episodes! That's good you are liking Call of the Country! It does look like it would be a lot of fun :)

That really is so awesome :) I did the whole anime obsession in high school and while my mom was financially supportive in my obsession, she couldn't stand to listen to any of it :p

I was hoping someone would do one on him! He was INCREDIBLE in Missing You, Han Jung Woo is one of my absolute favorite kdrama characters, I love how much he wanted to make things right with Soo Yeon and how he kept telling her he would never lose her again, I swoon every time :p Of course, it is really sad, and I cried buckets and buckets. But soooo good! I don't really do melodramas either, but he has me considering watching Miss Ripley just for him :p

I am considering putting Innocent Man on hold for right now! I just can't make myself want to watch it for some reason! I might just have to go to picking up an episode here and there in between dramas. I am not good at watching more than one drama at a time, I usually never even want to! I think that's how I know I am not digging IM, cause I am watching Smile You at the same time :p The girl's mom in Smile You is the mom in Missing You. I was utterly blown away by her performance in Missing You, it was so heartbreaking and believable. It's nice to see her in something frothier :) I have heard a lot of negative reviews on King of Baking, Kim Tak Goo so if you do watch it, you'll have to let me know what you think, since we tend to like the same elements of dramas, if not quite at the same intensity :p
