That's good that you think it will garner such a high score from you :) How is the time period aspect of it? I still can't figure out anything I want to pick up next!

Seriously, I am so glad I read your article :) I usually ignore the ones that aren't about Korean Dramas and actors, but I was feeling so put off by the kdrama I had been stuck in the middle of, I needed something new and fun, and Atashinchi delivered! It is interesting to me that I prefer kdramas and Korean over Japanese because I was such an anime nerd for a good decade of my life, and I never watched dubbed anime. I think it has to do with my jdramas choices! I tend to be drawn to titles that lean towards slapstick and don't seem to take themselves seriously, whereas kdramas tend to take themselves too seriously. I would love any suggestions you may have that are romantic and less slapstick! If I could enjoy jdramas, that would offer up a whole country worth of new drama to love :)

That's great it! I am so glad that it got better :) And I sure do like the sound of episode 18. How do you like the lead actors? And yes, the baseball was so weird! It was way too central to the plot given the synopsis I read never even mentioned baseball at all! But Iam curious now to find other dramas with the lead guy. He was a good actor! I read that new stalker article on the main page today and ended up starting and finishing one of the Jdramas that was mentioned. Don't get me wrong, it was good, but man, Jdramas just seem to lack something that kdramas have. I can't quite put my finger on it!!

Man, that is a serious bummer!! And you still have a lot of episodes to go! Hopefully they will get out of the dreaded repetitious cycle! I think I am giving up on Operation Proposal. The love story seems like it could be good, but I just hate baseball, and it's a huge part of this storyline. I'd never have started it if I'd known it had as much to do with baseball as with him trying to fix his past with the lead girl!

To the Beautiful You did have a great soundtrack, now that I think about it! The ending wasn't bad necessarily, it just felt really rushed! Like her secret is found out, so she decides to skip the tournament and go back home, and then it was all over in the next 2 minutes. It felt oddly paced! And the love triangle reminded me of You're Beautiful, and how bad I felt for Shin Woo!

That was seriously irritating! It seems to be popular lately to end romantic dramas with an ambiguous, not overly romantic ending. Like with To The Beautiful You! It seriously felt like they cut half of the episode off from the time that he makes it to the tournament to the year (I think it was a year) later ending!

Yes, City Hunter's ending was SOOOOO disappointing! Though, I actually liked how Jin Pyo died at the end of City Hunter. It felt kind of appropriate for him to die, but only cause I was SOOOO pissed off and blamed him for the prosecutor's death. And it was sad that Yoon Sung's main reason for his method of revenge was so that he and his father could live a normal life together, so that was sad :( But seriously, they could have given a less ambiguous ending, in my opinion!!

I HATED the Jun Pyo amnesia crap, and I didn't like the ending much either. I think manga-to-drama dramas tend to have really crappy endings. Faith dragged on a little too much, too! And I wish they could have given us just 10 more minutes on that ending, to hear that the bad poison guy died a horrible death and to at least see the main characters do more than just stare at each other :p But I am probably just too picky :p

I am glad you are enjoying it!! I am eager to hear what you think as you finish it! It has such a strong following, it's almost intimidating :p Plus at 28 episodes, it's a pretty long drama! I think Boys Over Flowers is the longest one I have watched at 25 episodes, and I just wished they had cut it down to 20, even though I loved it :p

That's a bummer! I suppose I could man up and watch something without romance, but the relationship between Na Na and Yoon Sung is what made me love City Hunter so much! I don't know if I could do all the action, without a love story thrown in the mix :p I can be such a girl sometimes :p Are you still liking Bridal Mask?

I had wanted to start Bridal Mask, til I read an article on here that said the romance was almost nonexistent. I have few rules in my kdramas, but romance for me is a must ;p but let me know if you think it's worth the lack of romance :) I am considering dropping Operation Proposal, it's a little strange for me!

We have watched so many of the same dramas, I don't have much of anything I could recommend to you, you'll have to tell me what you wind up on! I started and dropped Vineyard Man and Innocent man, and neither were doing it for me. I'm 4 eps in Operation Proposal now and it's pretty great! The characters are a little irritating at times though, especially the male lead. But you are so right! I never make it through an entire kdrama to rewatch. I usually just watch my favorite parts of different episodes, but I did watch a lot of the first 10 city hunter episodes before starting operation proposal. It's such a good drama. Lee Min Ho is my hero!!

Oh, yay!! I'm so glad you liked it :) I was getting a little worried there that you might not! Wasn't that ending rough though? Even with the happy, when he starts to hang himself and the phone rings, I just start bawling like a baby! And then when he says for a moment he forgot what a tie is used for, I just fall in love with him all over again! He is definitely one of the more romantic kdrama heroes :) have you decided what's up next for you?

I have rewatched QIHM several times, and I NEVER rewatch episode 9, it's so sad!! But, not spoiling anything, I think you will definitely be happier with the next episode :) And yes, that song is very fitting for the way that episode makes you feel! I haven't heard that cover before, but way back when I was a fan of Evanescence :) They were my very first concert!

Haha, I actually only watched the first 5 minutes and didn't like it too much so I have been rewatching City Hunter! Faith made me crave more Lee Min Ho! I can't decide what I want to start new next now.
You are so right, episode 8 is a giant downer! I don't want to spoil it for you, so I won't say anything about that, but I will say I love how she kept her memory of him!! I thought it was seriously sweet though, I did tear up a couple times when she was so distraught no one believed her!
Done - it was good but nothing much to remember. But below moments I will replay in my memory sometimes LOL. 1…
Those are all things I will remember fondly :) I love the part where Court Lady Choi pulls them back to give the king and queen space! And every time the woo dal chi giggle over Eui Seon and Choi Young!

I wish it had ended with more than them just staring at each other, since in 24 episodes we only got like one kiss! But overall I really liked it :) but it will be a long time before I will watch another historical, just too much melodrama! And yay!! I'm glad you are liking it better! I absolutely love the chemistry between the two leads. And I think that he does an amazing job, convincing that he is a man from a different era. I can't wait til you get further along!

So wait, we don't ever get to find out what happened to crazy uncle guy!? Wow, that's irritating. He was a way bigger villain that Gi Cheol, in terms of just being an evil SOB, and he just escaped to Yuan? If they had just showed his carriage careening off a cliff or something, I could have given it 10 stars. Is it just me, or did it feel like the last 3 or 4 episodes dragged on and on and then somehow it felt like they rushed the last 10 minutes?
