Title Perfect 10 Liners Spoiler
They dated for a year when Warit was a junior in college, and Yotha was a senior in high school (with an age difference…
Sure! After his parents divorce and his past relationship with Warit, Yotha stopped believing in love. He thinks couples will break up sooner or later, so he becomes determined to break up couples.
Whenever a girl with a boyfriend flirts with him at his brother's bar, Yotha hits on her through messages or gives her his phone number, trying to force her relationship to break by letting the boyfriend to find out. This leads into Yotha being beaten up by the angry boyfriends, yet he continues to do it. I recall he mention he do this as a favor, but it is clearly a self-destructive behavior, since he does not fight back and seems intent on reinforcing his belief that love doesn’t last or even exists. Later Gun ask him to stop it but at first Yotha answer him with "don't bother". But note aside, when Gun heard the rumours of Yotha being with a different girl every night, Yotha tries to make sure Gun knows that he never kisses or have any physical contact with any of them

Title Perfect 10 Liners Spoiler
does anyone who has read the novel want to spoil to me what went on with yotha and warit, and why yotha seems…
They dated for a year when Warit was a junior in college, and Yotha was a senior in high school (with an age difference of around 3 or 4 years). Warit was Yotha's first and only love. Yotha was so madly in love that he tattooed a binary code, Warit taught him (he has a binary code tattoo too). Warit eventually dumped Yotha, claiming that what they had wasn’t love and that he wasn’t ready for such a commitment. But then, Yotha meets Aou's character, Klao, and realized that Warit had been able to commit to Klao and do things with him that he had refused to do with Yotha before. It was a first love failure and he starts questioning what real love truly is, since he had believed he had felt it with Warit.
Also, Yotha has to see him often, because Warit is close friends with Pepper's character, Yotha's older brother, and is the co-owner of the bar. In the book, Warit behaves as though nothing happened and like "he will understand" or "he will find someone", like underestimating his feelings. Although Yotha hates Warit for what he did, the book sometimes suggest that he is still in love with him and that Warit is the real reason Yotha keeps going to the bar. But this is not entirely true, i have spoiled enough haha it has a lot of background story

I've read the book and i thought so too. Like Yotha was never mean or harsh towards Gun, only when Gun was too…
Not sure about series, but Gun is very aware of his feelings and he's not shy or timid about it. Even he waits for Yotha until he's ready, letting Yotha know that he likes him. It is only from Yotha's side the hesitance, at least that is how it is in the books.

It kinda was, since the first sec but without Yotha and reader knowledge. Right at the end of the book we get to know that Yotha was interested in Gun since the admission interview and that Gun is his type. There's a pov of Yotha at the end, most of the story is Gun's pov

I've read the book and i thought so too. Like Yotha was never mean or harsh towards Gun, only when Gun was too…
I think he is 100% in love but it is covered as curiosity. But he doesn't know it yet and won't aknowledge it for long, i think they will drag this until one of their last chapters since is the main plot of their story (the fact that he doesn't know or accept his feelings). I don't know, they are going too fast. My guess is Yotha will return with more wounds, Gun worries and will try to find out where Yotha goes at night by his own, since he heard Yotha spend the night with different girls, but that is not in the next ep's preview. So i think is quite different to the novel, they are adding ArcArmYothaGun moments which i can not remember from the book.

Yes, is Yotha the one who ask him to date but Gun tried a lot to do it first.

Can someone who has read the book spoil me how is Yotha going to restrain himself for the next episodes? 🤣…
I've read the book and i thought so too. Like Yotha was never mean or harsh towards Gun, only when Gun was too noisy with his businness, Yotha would be kinda serious and trying to get him away. But since the beginning he is nice and caring with him. But this is too soon, he is down so bad and there's still 6 eps haha

Someone said below Santa is nailing his role… please bffr yall…objectivity is officially dead & burried in…
I said it and as a book reader, he is nailing. Actually Gun demeanor is tone down by Santa pretty well, since in the book is more annoying than this. And the upcoming scene it should be more intense when it comes to angts. I actually don't know what is your problem, you seem so disturbed, you have the option to not watch it, as i'm not watching THK because i don't like JoongDunk, so easy tbh
On Perfect 10 Liners Dec 29, 2024
Santa is nailing Gun's role. The way his eyes alone convey exactly what he wants to deliver in each scene is incredible. I'm amazed at how natural he looks, and his micro-expressions are so good. I would love to keep watching him in slice-of-life dramas, I'm never bored by the way he portrays his characters. He brings them to life with so much ease

Can someone spoil for me what kind of family problems Yotha and Faifa have exactly?
Their parents divorced, and when it came to custody, their mom chose Faifa over Yotha when they were young. This decision planted insecurities in Yotha (the beginning of his trauma). Yotha was raised by his dad and older brother (Pepper’s character), which is why Faifa and Yotha have such different personalities. Later, their mom remarried a foreigner and moved to the USA (I think), so Faifa returned to his dad's house to live with his brothers.

I like it very much. Briefly, Gun is an outgoing, hyperactive, and very friendly guy, quite innocent and a backtalker.…
Also, the way they try to heal each other's trauma is endearing to see, there is character growth for both. It is worth to watch. You can tell that i really like it haha and i'm currently on my second read. Some people say that Faifa-wine story is even better but i haven't read it yet.

It may sound simple and like a common trope. But it is interesting and exciting, and the scenes or moments are well written. If they include all of the scenes that show the emotions and frustration between the characters, believe me, it will be good. But since this is only 8 eps i doubt they can successfully cover all of it. But i have zero doubts about PerthSanta, they will nail it, that's for sure. I just hope they can adapt the novel well. Don't base the story on just my summary, i encourage you to give it a chance because the novel is good

Title Perfect 10 Liners Spoiler
has anyone read yotha-gun story? can you share spoilers? what is the overall arc .. basically just spoil the story
I like it very much. Briefly, Gun is an outgoing, hyperactive, and very friendly guy, quite innocent and a backtalker. But he doesn't beat around the bush, so whenever he likes someone, he's very straightforward. Unlike Yotha, who has past trauma related to unrequited or failed love. This comes from his parents' divorce and his mom chose Faifa over him when they separated. Also his first love, Warit (Boom's character, also Yotha's brother's friend), who was older than him, dumped him because he didn't feel love anymore or wasn't fully committed, as I remember it. So Yotha stopped believing in love. He thinks couples will break up sooner or later, so he becomes determined to break up couples as a hobby or revenge, something like that.

Whenever a girl with a boyfriend flirts with him at his brother's bar, Yotha hits on her through messages or gives her his phone number, trying to force her relationship to break or provoke her boyfriend into fighting Yotha. This explains why, in the teasers for P10L on Twitter, Perth always has wounds on his face, he’s constantly fighting guys and has no intention of stopping. Gun asks him to stop, but at first, Yotha responds with "What does it even have to do with you?" or "Don't bother," and a "Shut up" attitude. However, he eventually falls in love with Gun and wants to get serious with him, so he starts to loosen up. But before that, he takes his precious time admitting or realizing his feelings for Gun. Yotha becomes caring, protective, and loving with Gun, so it becomes obvious that he has caught feelings, which leads Gun to believe he’s in love with him. Gun asks Yotha, "What am I to you?" But Yotha chickens out because of his trauma and the 'love doesn't exist' thing. He keeps Gun waiting for a long time for an answer, and Gun patiently waits, but he can't stand being close to him until then. So, he distances himself, ignoring him most of the time but occasionally asking if Yotha has an answer. Yotha always replies, "Not yet." During this time, and for most of the story until they confess, Yotha is always sending mixed signals to Gun, which I both hated and loved for the angst that came later when they discussed it. Gun cries because of his frustration.

In other news, Gun has trauma related to the dark, which is ironic due to Yotha's character name is Mr Darkness. He sleeps with the lights on because, as a child, he played at being a detective and hid in the food storage room. The door closed, and when he tried to open it, he couldn't. He screamed for help, but no one was there to open it. Since there was no light inside, that’s how his fear started, and he gets nightmares when sleeping in complete darkness. So, there's a blackout in the dorm and Yotha is at his brother's bar, he rushes to the dorm to take care of Gun, a scene I want them to add. They make a deal to help each other heal their traumas (Yotha's love issues and Gun's fear). Also, Gun realizes that Yotha still cares about and thinks of his ex, which makes him jealous.

In conclusion, Yotha comes out of his dark life because he becomes interested in Gun. Gun is curious about Yotha because he is so noisy and friendly but also thinks he is very handsome. Yotha starts to show interest in Gun, and Gun asks him to man up. Yotha can’t, though, because he doesn’t believe in love. Gun distances himself, and Yotha eventually admits he likes and loves Gun. Gun asks him to stop being so self-destructive. At first, Yotha refuses, but eventually, he gives in. They become boyfriends, and voila. There’s also some angst with Klao, Warit’s boyfriend, who thinks Yotha is still in love with Warit. Klao tries to take revenge by using Gun, which becomes a breaking point for Yotha, as he realizes how important Gun is to him.

don't get the hate and negative comments Santa is getting. I am not even a fan but I have read the novel and thats…
With less than 5 mins of screentime which is crazy, they didn't give him time to develop the character to quickly judge it right away. But i guess the reason is that western people don't like these kind of roles since we are not used to cute and bubbly behaviors, and thai or south east people in general loves it. Their target audience are the latter ones since those are the ones that will pay for fanmeetings, tours, merch, etc. And jittirain books already has a lot of fans out there, especially Engineer Cute Boy one, i saw it is quite popular and widely read. Personally, i liked it very much. I read the YothaGun part and Gun at first is cheerful and excited about almost everything. But, by the second book, you see more depht about Gun as he dealing about traumas and concerns, and you end up empathizing with him, if i expand more on it i would spoil it. But i guess the hate and negative comments will keep coming eitherway.

Also, worth to mention, that Gun's character was drunk in the scene. Gun is a naturally cheerful and loud kind of person, and alcohol would amplify those kind of traits. How else they expect him to act that? I know that the director asked him to exaggerate it more in the BTS, but for an only 5 min scene or that little script, i still believe it was good.

That’s true, i don’t decide anything on behalf of anyone, nor do I intend to. I was replying to someone who is watching something they don’t enjoy and trying to understand the thought process behind it. Since I usually drop or don’t even start something if I know I won't like it or if I'm not the intended audience. That does not mean the show is bad. That’s why I said maybe, you have free will to do whatever you want, even this if it’s what you like

You have concluded yourself there. You already stated your point of you on this show and that's fair. Now, maybe it's time to move on and watch those Thai programs/films that you say you enjoy watching. Continuing to mention how annoying it seems to you won't change anything on how it is made, nor will it suddenly make it more appealing to you in the next episode. Feel free to keep watching if you want, but don't complain here afterwards when you already know that this show's approach is not what you like. That's nonsensical and a waste of time.

Ikr! I'm on my second read because i'm quite impatient, but i hope they keep his banter and sassy attitude too. And then the moments of worry, sadness and crying will show how good Gun's character is. And Santa is insanely good at portraying all these in one go.
