i have the exact same sentiments as you. i really loved the novel and simply wished they could've kept khanin's character the same or better. now it just seems as if his main purpose is to chase after men which alot of viewers are ticked off about and i hate it because khanin was such an amazing character in the novel..... (he's so cute with his little crush though so i can't fault him ><) i will still give the series the benefit of doubt since the ending of ep 8 appears to lean more towards politics and khanin finding out the intentions of his biological family, but just like you, i don't hold any more expectations with regards to the relation between the novel and series anymore :")

i wonder how you define "terrible" in your terms... considering senior actors of the industry, acting professionals and the general public had all praised his acting skills in this project, i'm genuinely curious why you think as such

my best guess is that since davichmetha are known for their advanced technology, they are holographic birds projected to serve as an archery target for princess ava's training. in ep 6, prince ramil mentioned he was there to check out their archery range and in the trailer, khanin was seen shooting an arrow at one of those birds too... but yes i also agree its kinda misplaced

to all the haters: firstly thanks for taking the time to watch the series even when you hate it :) what you don't like may be someone else's cup of tea. again, as always, everyone is entitled to an opinion but is it impossible to expect some respect? spreading negativity and false information about the show is just not it 🤷🏻‍♀️

hmm.... with regards to khanin being described as "white" and "fair skinned", most of the other characters are described that way too–including charan, ava, paytai. but they're merely being used to pinpoint characters in specific situations. so in my honest opinion, the references to skin color is just purely meant to be factual and has no implementation that the emphasized skin tone is more superior/attractive over another! hope this helps answer your question a little ><

coming here just to say constructive criticism is always welcomed but if you claim "he's a good singer but he can't act" then i'm sorry that's plain hating. i know certain shows many people like may not be your cup of tea or those that you like but people generally don't—it's a matter of preference yes. but if you claim his acting is bad, istg its just you hating. just from ep 1 alone you can tell how amazing his acting is from how he delivers & portray various emotions in each scene. even professionals in the acting industry praised his acting so who are you to say his acting is bad :") you can criticize ofc, he's more than open to feedback but bad acting?? where???
