Imagine thinking someone is too pretty for a role 🥴he can’t help the face he was born with and In order to…
Why should we respect your opinions when you are clearly disrespecting someone else's by saying i bet you are a teen or early 20's . It's arrant nonsense that teens or a 29 yr old can't have well thought out opinions.Even bringing your age into this conversation like it should mean something and talking about objectivity while you make the most unintellectual argument ,then turn around and ask for respect. You're the worst kind of hypocrite. GA.
You know this is a good drama when you have Soohyun apologists vs Seonyul apologists and neutrals defending them…
I Know. When a show riles up the audience up so much ,evokes feelings of anger, hate, love ,annoyance, sympathy, rage, etc, it means the actors and the script are doing a stellar job and creating .......more drama. I don't think certain characters must be liked vs hated or we have to all take a pre approved moral position. The purpose of art while entertaining us is also to get us to think ,to feel ,to ask ,to think ,to explore,to analyze and open up our minds. It's okay to dislike Seonyul,it's okay to also sympathize with his plight, it's okay to be disgusted at Suho but to also sympathize at the messed up situation because he lost a son and had his life derailed by Soohyun's actions after losing their son. I really loved the ending of the last episode. Everyone's nightmare colliding at the same time as the orchestrator silently watches.
I like the drama but I agree with you... he's "too soft" for that role...is hard to believe he's a hardened young…
But he is not and the drama, if you've really watched it up to episode 8 isn't even trying to say that ,so where did you get that characterization from? So far his story is that of a good young man ,loved by his parents who then looses his dad ,drops out of med school, seeking revenge and now works for a dirty politician with a cover day job as a mechanic. His character is much more nuanced than just "a hardened young man that fights all the time "
To be fair, he probably doesn't know how his father behaved in front of Soohyun. He DID apologize and act remorseful…
Honestly ,thinking about it another theory is that Seonyul's father had to act that way to throw her off suspecting kim joon might be behind it ,just maybe . Maybe he didn't want to speak softly to her and break down and end up ratting out stuff he shouldn't rat out or maybe he was just an extremely selfish jerk. Anyway We are seated very early for 9 and 10. Eunwoo's psycho smirk ,just chilling in that lobby with earphones and music after orchestrating that mayhem beside him, should be an internet meme .Fantastic scene.
Agreed. This is screaming bad characterization/writing unfortunately.
You can't really make that determination when we do not know about everyone's actions and their motives ,very shortsighted way of viewing the story unfortunately.
This may be a an unpopular take as we have many Cha Eun Woo fans, but I find his character pretty unlikeable with…
Is anyone asking you to like his character? He is playing a role and he's doing a darn good job of playing a psycho revenge role so far . No one is asking you to like his character .I don't believe the director wrote seonyul just so he can be liked.
I mean he seems to be planning revenge on Kim Joon too (we saw him collecting info). So, if his dad truly only…
No one is imposing any morals on anyone .The writer is just telling a story about peoples actions and consequences and letting us the audience judge the characters. I've not seen any scene in the drama stating characters x or y's actions are righteous or unrighteous.
Just one thing: Seonyul does NOT know the things his father said to Soohyun. In his eyes, his father was a good…
Exactly , They haven't shown us what exactly happened the day Gunwoo died . If he accidentally ran on to the road because he was careless then it wasn't really the drivers fault and we can see why he got a lighter sentence .
I would understand Seon Yul's feelings to some extent if he wasn't already grown when his father died. He was…
How do you tell your wife you've been creeping in bed with her sister? As for Seonyul ,who knows .......a kid dealing with heart issues and suddenly everyone that's helping him cope gets ripped away from him, probably taking meds that might be making him psycho and who knows whose heart he got ? Forgive me but i'm loving psycho eunwoo...ehmmm.....Seonyul. Sorry soohyun ,our sister code is on recess.
