lmao but it's not like seri is just leeching off her parents anymore? what do you mean "not to the point where she will just allow her daughter to work instead of studying"? you just said education provides you with more opportunities but these opportunities are mostly.. work opportunities. and seri already HAS a job that she enjoys. most people studies just to get a good job and if seri already has one then why should she be forced to study? this makes no sense.
not everything is about education and education doesn't guarantee that your life will be better. sure it may provide you with more opportunities but if you already made these opportunities for yourself you don't really need that unless you really want to deepen your knowledge in some aspect that interests you. i frankly wish there were fewer people at uni who go there just for the sake of it when they have no real interest, they often just hinder on people who are there to pursue education because they want to.
education is great and everyone should have the basics of it and everyone should have access to be able to pursue it further but it should be something you choose to do and not something youre pressured to do.
and i say that as someone with a master's degree.

yea and im not saying youre wrong about them being rich and being able to do whatever they want. im saying that forcing your kids to get an education leads to nowhere. you may force them when theyre kids and dont know any better but when theyre already around 20 what good will abusing them just so they get a college degree do? let them make their own choices and learn on their own mistakes (if they turn out to be mistakes because sometimes theyre not and people end up just as happy as they'd be without any of this higher education stuff). its them who will live their own lives. if they find cramming for exams a genuine waste of time and have better ideas for themselves, let them do whatever they want. oh and it doesnt apply to rich people only. granted, they got a lot more security to take risks but children of poor families should be able to make their own choices too.

education is important but her kids are at the age where they can make their own decisions regarding their own lives already. if they dont want to study they wont learn anything even if someone threatens them. the will to learn should come from them. and let me tell you... university degree doesnt guarantee you will live a good life.
