It's been 3-5 months now and I've kept this drama on hold after watching episode 18 just because I don't want…
The writers weren't high. The original novel just has two endings and they chose one. But season two is announced and I'm curious. Maybe they'll focus on the alternative ending. :)
I think that scene from the vision room was showing that the president elected in the past scene was someone from…
Omg you are right! Just rewatched the scenes and I think it might be indeed the same person! (I'm really not good in differentiating faces and names. I even confuse my friends sometimes. Haha). So, in the end the Kingmakergame continued and vision room wasn't completely abolished? Or is Kingmaker possible without vision room and it's data?
Actually, I understand the criticism but I really liked it. This drama is about dirty politics. So, of course it gets heavy and you need to pay attention sometimes. However, I don't think that it's a bad trait for a series. I also liked the scene before the very last because it gives room for speculation. On the other hand, I didn't like the very last scene. Like...come on guys. Seriously? Don't let it be what we are thinking it is. Haha. That's uncreative. Nevertheless, I enjoyed it. Besides dirty politics and romances, it also had some comedic scenes in it. If you are a fan of series where everything is put into a larger picture, than you'll enjoy it for sure!
Uhm.. was that the ending? I really can't understand the part where there are 4 seats in the GK Vision Room and…
I think so. What confused me more was the wedding scene. I mean, don't tell me it's happening again? This poor girl already suffered enough of broken hearts. Haha. They could have just showed a happy wedding and the vision room part.
I'm sorry what? Come again? Ah Reum is saying sorry for what exactly? Am I suppose to laugh or am I just supposed…
He should be the one saying sorry. She was in a unhappy marriage and didn't even know why. He wasn't there at all. Yes, he had pretty good reasons. But he could have told her at least, that he's working for higher police officials and can't go further into details. I mean, is it so hard? Lmao
I mean, I do feel bad for Derek and I hoped he would still be with her in the end. However, he still has too many secrets and doesn't tell her anything at all. Maybe it's to keep her safe or he's afraid that she will hate him. However, if the writer doesn't make his character come clean about everything, I don't really know if I could still root for him.
First things first, I loved this show! The Story was real, the acting was raw and the screentimeflow between our two main couples was perfectly balanced. I also love how they didn't try to push the story forward with toxic and unreasonable jealousy.
Now about the biggest controversial in MODC - the ending: Even though I was shocked in the beginning and cried my eyes out (and kinda coursed the writers, not gonna lie haha), I started to accept it. It's still a great even if it's not a happy one for everyone. That's the way of life. There's always something going on which causes a really hard time for one.
Okay, another plus point is, that the drama with his father wasn't dragged for 4-5 episodes and handled quite well. I, once again, redeem my latest comment. I still like the drama. If you want to watch a bit of sweetness without too much drama, than you will be perfectly fine with this bl drama.
Honestly? I'm at ep. 10 and I love this bl! I get, why people are a bit disappointed about too much couples and less screentime for character development. However, I love how they didn't put too much drama in to it. Even though they have really spicy scenes, the romance is still pure. Often in bl dramas, one character forces the other until they kinda fall in love or realize their feelings. And I don't like it. What about consent y'all? While in this drama, they give enough space to each other to figure out what they truely want and communication is a major key. In other dramas, they would have already start to put another person into the writing, who approaches one of our main leads and the other one gets blinded by jealousy and all this toxic stuff. But not in here. Yes, there are still scenes which show jealous behaviour. But in my opinion, it's just the right amount. If you also watched Tharntype, you realize how fragile their love actually is. They get jealous over the slightes things and don't really trust each other. The writers said through TT "let's make the viewers have trust issues for the rest of their lifes". hahaha
Kavitra and Phubet are not in this series? Why? How?
I think, it's because their drama love story is already told in season one and they didn't need another one. The others were about deep character development and their complex structure of feelings, while Phubet and Kavitra have already found their balance. Phubet matured a lot during ss2. Our main leads on the other side "only" started to develope deeper feelings for each other and get used to their sexuality, while their personalities were still very diffrent. It's about the life after the rose-red glasses faded. Hence, more drama for Kavitra and Phubet or even involvement woould be uneccessary and would actually take the screentime which is important to portrait the chemestry and inner confusion of our 3 main couples. :)
On one hand I can understand the directors intention to use the virus for creating an ultimate vaccine. However, the way he procedes with it, is just wrong. The writers created in theory the perfect antagonist. Sometimes, you can understand his intention. Nevertheless, you know the process behind it is cruel and worse than wrong. You can see that living for such a long time and being able to use such a tool, really messed up any morals in this man.
I kinda praised the writers for this roll so far. However (big HOWEVER), they made him too insane. I mean, come on guys. If you are developing a drug or a vaccine, you create the vaccine, test it on cells untile it gives good results. Afterwards, you change to higher organism. The next step is tests on animals which are similar to humans (e.g. mice). Than, you start testing with humans (in a sane environment definetly with mutual consent and with more stable drug). I get the part where he doesn't follow the law at all. But those are really basic scientific steps. Everyone knows them and come one. Is it so hard to ask a Major in science or medicine to read over the script? Maybe I'm a bit sensetiv about this issue because I'm majoring in science. I overlooked a lot of "facts" which were not accurate (given that this show is very ficional). But this is just basic stuff.
Nevertheless, the series is okay (and outstanding if you want to procrastinate).
i forgot that i had started this drama and stopped in episode 2 lmao can someone tell me if it is worth continuing?
I think, it's really worth watching it. I started a few hours ago and binged till the latest. And let me tell you, I don't know for which ML to cheer. Hahaha. It's switching all the time. I hope, the writers don't mess up the further story line.
Actually I'm quite disappointed. This reboot is good, please don't gget my wrong. However, the original one already set high bars for it. The characters weren't played as well as they were in the first series. The new Wayo was nothing like the novel Wayo. The new actor for P'Pha did really well. However, despite being a really good actor, tis roll didn't suit him. The novel "Campus Moon" is (besides being good looking) extremly over confident, possessive and with a little flavour of arrogance. The new actor is just to cute (not in a bad way!). I don't really see the necessarity to reboot the original series.
I hope, my English wasn't that bad. I'm not a native sleeper and I haven't slept in two days.
The mentor was on sick leave and when he knew about the situation it was too late already. But like he said, it…
I mean, I know he was on sick leave but come on. How hard can it be to send an email? They just got a huge contract for designing such a good AI programm.
