One thing confused me in EP 4 is the scene were Pobmek wakes up finds Solar (actually it was Sun pretending to be Solar) still awake and tells him that they will visit Aurora who was taking another sick leave that day and then with the next scene both Pobmek and Aurora get shocked that it was actually Sun who was conversing with them and not “teacher Solar”….my question is how did Sun remeber Solar’s intention of wanting to stay awake and visit Aurora where he ended up “acting” as “Solar”? I also thought that once both Sun/Solar wake up the next day they tend to forget everything that happened in the other personality’s day before… This part confused me
The chemistry between Perth and Santa is insane some of the scenes in this episode had amazing tension! Also cant wait to see the story unfold more I just know Dome is hiding a crazy plot twist like he has always done in his previous shows🤭

He did undergo a brain scan in the first episode and it came out as normal. Such conditions are not detected in a brain scan anyways its a behavioral issue hence why he was taken to a psychotherapist in Ep3.

Pobmek didnt even remember to change his outfit (been wearing it since the morning of Solar’s accident up until the next morning in the scene he rushes to the street to look for Solar/Sun) and it was an intentional choice by director Dome just to show how stressful and bizaare Pobmek’s new situation has been for him that he ends up fogetting taking care of himself amidst the entire chaos and we got people here writing think pieces about how “he should have handled the situation better” 💀

My point is we dont know yet if Sun is just a “regressed” form of Solar there could be more to it like DID in which if thats the case then Sun would probably not recognize Solar’s mother (Prani) just like he couldnt recognize any of the people from Solar’s circle until now because Sun and Solar are two completely separate people.

Also I dont understand why everyone wanted Pobmek to call/take Solar to his mother as if he called her and let Solar who woke up as “Sun” talk with her Sun wouldnt panic and have a second meltdown like he had earlier after going back from the hospital. Solar in Sun’s state clearly knows no one from his circle…he didnt recognize Pobmek, his neighbor who is just 2 years older than him and started calling her “auntie” and we got ppl here thinking Sun is refering to Prani (Solar’s mother) when he constantly whines about his “mother”.

Solar resetting to a 7 yr old mentality is not “drama logic” at all. Such condition exists its called “age regression” where basically an adult regresses to a younger age its often triggered as a response to a specific past traumatic experience. The show already established the clear difference in dynamics between Pobmek and the character Solar (2 consenting adults in an established romantic relationship) and that between Pobmek and “Sun” displaying the uncle-nong dynamic whether its the manerisms or the tones they use when interacting (its more of guardianship dynamic). I havent read the novel which this series is based (it was written by Dome himself and it will be closely adapted in the series with minor changes as he mentioned before) but from what I have seen from ppl who read it they said that there was nothing weird going on so yeah dont be worried.
What a perfect first episode. Everything from the directing, pacing, screenplay, sound mixing, background music/osts, colour grading and acting were perfect. As expected of a Dome series and PerthSanta delivered incredible performances with a lot of range already and its only been one episode! Cant wait for the next one!
