Anyone also noticed the mirroring between how Klao-Warit "make up" when they have a fight to how Yotha approaches/apologizes to Gun the same way? Yotha himself says to gun in an earlier scene (the next morning after the electricity went off) you see Yotha saying sorry to Gun but Gun tells him its not enough (we know he intends to let Yotha know the bigger picture which is to stop making trouble at the bar) so we see Yotha telling Gun something along the lines of "I tried all the ways I know to try to make up with you" when Gun still rejects his apology he decides to kiss him, Gun folds and reciprocates. Then throughout the episode we see how this is his only "definition" of apologizing to Gun and he actually thinks its "more than enough". We see similar dynamic between Klao and Warit when they constantly fight and then make up so I cant help but link the way Yotha acts (among other reasons of course) to how his relationship with Warit was and how he tries to establish the same dynamic he had with Warit but now with someone that he actually cares for now like Gun. Correct me if I'm wrong though!
They did change A LOT regarding Yotha/Wa in this episode compared to the novel (it was no way near dramatic compared…
Yeah I know I read the novel…New Siwaj directive choices I guess… I’m fine with changes being done in the series afterall the adaptation might not stay faithful to the source material all the time I do hope they wrap up/address these conflicts/changes well within the script of the series though…otherwise its a complete waste!

Because this episode was all about establishing the “conflict matter” I do think (and hope) they get addressed not necessarily resolved (yet) in the upcoming episode.
extremely confused by gun forgiving yotha kissing someone else because... he kissed him too? what a poorly written…
imo I dont think he fully forgave him yet…he still looked dejected after the kiss in the last scene and I do think it will be addresssed in the next episode.
Not spoken about much but that scene where Gun was experiencing a nightmare because the lights went off was so well done I love how his tone changes and you can actually hear the trembles...love whenever Santa does this...he does it so well imo!

Gun is not dumb imo. He is very observant of people around him. He just masks his struggles/feelings/trauma behind this cheery/insecure persona so I dont understand how is he similar to Arm in any way. Yotha is not possessive like Arc was of Arm what you saw in this episode is just his defense mechanism against "losing Gun" its well established that the guy has severe difficulty in dealing with messy situations/circumstances in a proper way given the shitty upbringing environment he was brought up in and on top of that getting into a toxic relationship with someone much older (he literally got gr00med) so in this episode we are given a look at his "definition" of "apologizing/making up with Gun" he thinks a mere request of getting his tie tied or a peck would be enough for Gun to forgive him such behavior is not liked by Gun himself and even his own brother called him out for being "out of touch" this also parallels with Gun telling him that "his outlook on life is bad" in an earlier episode in contrast to Gun or even Faifa who due to their upbringing deal with situations in a better manner hence why you also see Gun confiding into Faifa more but chooses to still put on "this mask" towards Yotha with all of that again I fail to see how he is "completely" similar to Arc. All four characters imo are very different and their dynamics as couples yes might have some similarities between them after all many relationships are similar but are not a "complete copy" of each other. Regarding the "at least that first one was funny as hell" well no one said that this story/arc will be funny many novel readers in here pointed out that this arc and even the one after it are "heavier" in the drama aspect compared to the first arc. The series imo has been overall solid tbh regarding all of its arcs so far so no need to pay attention to these "fanwars/comparisons" imo just enjoy the show and critique/praise whatever you dislike/like about it!

I believe he didnt fully forgive him yet...he knows thats how Yotha thinks "its enough to make up with him that way" hence you see his dejected reaction after Yotha kisses him and then invites him for a walk on the beach to "talk and sort things out"...

At first Gun is okay with this and actually wanted to give Yotha time but when he learns that Yotha/Warich were dating he becomes insecure thinking Yotha still has feelings for him and then Gun tells Yotha so just "take some time off" from hanging out together so that Yotha figures out his "feelings" so during that time they will be both basically depressed and yearning for eachother later on Yotha basically tells Gun that "cant imagine his world without him" he still doesnt really define his feelings but Gun feels it through Yotha's actions and from their they date smoothly going into their second year on uni as far as I remember.
