Are you a fan or hired to make wave for him? either way, his looks are apreciable ( let's not go into fanatism) and so is his acting skills👍. I would love to see him in more dramas .

He is such a narcisist, never treated her right, made her happy truly whitout undermining her, gass lighting her. maybe ypu haven't met people like thos in real life, maybe my life experience makes me see the stpry through this lense but only reason I kept watching with fascination is that all the signs are there feom start to finish and still the sory sells as happy one. the guy was a predator. I really wonder if the writers knew what they were doing or if it just got like that by mistake.imo they were a perfect couple because she was the perfect victim to his narcisism, unable to break free. the guy underminded her, the way he saw her, he doesn't see beauty in her. He compares her with a snail. he created a toxic environment for her. made her unhappy time and time again. that is not love and mind you, the guy doesn't change in the end. he still tries to draw her in, because he needs his victim. he doesn't want the new and improved version of her, more stronger, he wants her back as the old her and the way he tries to get her back is typical predator. you expect a bastar*d like him to bend on his knees to apologise for the ammount of pain and trauma she was put through because of him but no. he is immune to empathy. he just wants back his victim that makes him feel important.

it just wasn't engaging. the female character came too strong but with little to offer as point of interest or quality. I dislike feminist ideology in cdramas, and you know you are watching one when the character is exagerated not for story value but for moral value which, imo is uneccessary and harmful to a story (it's also hypocritical to write a story in the name if an ideology that should be for the better of humanity when the attitude characters have in most fantasy cdramas over the death of a lover, it's most toxic (when characters refuse to go on with life even trying to take their own life or why not, keep the body of the deceased and get engage in mild necrophilia like TTEOTM) but no one makes a story where a clear message of moving one is the best way, because extreme grievinf has story value, adds to the dramatism). getting back on track, this show it's just a bad story, female character strongly dislikeable and with so many gems out there to enjoy, it's not worth the bother. it's a shame because people wored hard to create this drama. I hope we wont see more of feminism in fantasy cdramas but somehow I have a bad feeling on what is to come.I really tried watching but just couldn't get immersed in the story.

I started watching Chinese dramas after this deception and I am quite impressed.

A romantic toxic relationship. it's just awful that we reachad this stange where we romanticize cases that are truly toxic. All I can say is that poor woman, that awful scumbag and the poor 2nd male lead who just wasted his time. didn't see all of it. quit towards the end.

it's weird but while I watched this, during the scenes where the protagonist were close and lovey dovey I got this major vibe that the actors hate each other. idk , both look gorg together but maybe it was a flaw in directig. no chemistry imo.
