I really hated Fiat but I don't think he deserved that punishment. He really did try hard to get between That and Type, making them fight and telling Tharn some hurtful things that made him misunderstand Type but the rape thing was too much

In the book Type gets his revenge. Kengkla helps him lure Fiat to a hotel room where they tie him up and blindfold him, Type starts hitting Fiat and almost broke his knee, then they (Type, Champ, Keng and Techno) left the room and let Fiat's "best friend" who is in love with him go in and do whatever he wants with Fiat. Apparently he is raped by this "friend" (is some translations there was more than one friend who raped him) and filmed it. He basically uses that recording to blackmail Fiat and that's all they tell you.
