I love how much the doctors and nurses respect each other on this show. Sure, they rib and tease each other but there's respect for each other's abilities. The team is so easy to root for! It's like Hospital Playlist in this way - another medical drama that I adore.

I think now that the ex kissing scene was after they broke up. Maybe she was going to him for comfort post breakup.…
I think your theory with the ex makes the most sense compared to some of the other stuff I'm reading. The ex might not even know that Seok Ryu saw him at the pool party, she left without saying anything. So, when he answered her mom that he didn't cheat, he was being honest because they weren't together at that point.

Are you confusing ex-fiance with her college boyfriend, Brian? I think they're two different people. I think Seok Ryu feels indebted to the ex because he was the only one there for her while she went through her treatment. But indebted does not equate love which I think she'll spend the next two episodes figuring out.

SR refusing to go to the bathhouse with her mom, could she have a scar somewhere that she doesn't want anyone to see? Does this "scar" have something to do with the year she took off from work? The whole bathhouse convo felt like a throwaway scene that'll make more sense later or am I overthinking it?
