Rebirth is a continuation and re-adaptation of Princess Agents. If you still want to know what happened after the Frozen Lake incident, Rebirth has the answer. The story finally ends with a happy ending, creating full watching experience.
Li Yunrui plays the main leads in Rebirth and Blossom. His acting is top nocht delivering complex characters Song Mo and Zhuge Yue. His emotions are well expressed through his eyes. Both dramas are directed by same director.

The difference, Rebirth is a historical fantasy, Swords into Plowshares is guided by historical records. Both are realistic in depicting human suffering amidst chaotic era.
First, for Zhou Yi Wei as the main characters (even though in TLDC, he is the villain). Second, for the Chang'an, what a fabulous setting! Third, for the mysteries and intelligent play.
Li Lianhua is very similar to Mei Changsu in many aspects. They are both grown man, mature, strategic, wise, and a leader. They fall and rise in similar way, and meet the end of their life in the end of the story. They both hang by a thread and are so sick due to poison. They both are noble birth, but Mei Changsu has more beautiful life in the palace in comparison to Li Lianhua who live his childhood as a beggar.
Li Lianhua is similar to Xiao Se. They are skillful and famous before they meet downfall. They both have wonderful friendship and brotherhood to fulfill their mission. It is just Li Lianhua is already a grown man. He face life and death acceptingly. He meets his end. While Xiao Se, he just starts adulthood, so the story gives him another opportunity to go adventure. If Xiao Se has more story, I would like to see him grow to be like Li Lianhua.
Similar in mission, to clear name of beloved ones accused of treason. Clever and wise male leads, less romance, more brotherhood, strong and loyal companions.
