After watching four episodes, I’m still convinced of the same thing — this J-drama was made to promote Suzuki…
Lol i haven't watch the full series but based on the ig account of this drama, they add more guest actors to basically add more views and promotion lol (they literally invited the whole fantastics member (yusei group) to the show and even promote and sings their new music) and honestly smart moves and can't complain but to be amazed haha. The show got money from the views and fans, every character got their own promotion, and fans satisfied. Clever marketing to promoto some artist by entertainment series, so win-win situation lol
its so important to talk about people dealing with infertility. I am actually glad they didn't go 'oh the reports…
if i can be truly harsh honest, the FL is the type of person who would rather choose to be saved instead of saving herself, and gets drowned by unfortunate things because afraid of being alone. This type of person is very prone to being used by bad people, it's very sad indeed. i know she didn't intend to be self-pitying, but her actions and expression sometimes do speak a bit of self-pity tbh and people could take that for advantages
it's said that this movie is inspired tho, so maybe the add their own elements. the book kind of reminds me of…
i watched the trailer too, it kind of gives me gay undertones too but still can't catch quite enough from the trailer. i have found the novel online with english translate, it has very interesting, tragic, sad concepts about human isolation
To the people questioning the friendship tag, I just looked up the novel. It isn’t a romance story :’)
it's said that this movie is inspired tho, so maybe the add their own elements. the book kind of reminds me of murakami's book 'norwegian wood', i can sense that this movie is gonna be tragic just like the novel
WOW…just WOWThis is exactly how I felt throughout this season. This series (imo) is really hard for actors or…
They changes a lot from the manga, so if you read it, you're not spoiling anything because they change here and there but still keep the main theme and personality but the angst i would say not really because the manga is such an easy and meaningful read (and it's yaoi, iykyk). They both amazing in my opinion, very recommended to read it but don't worry you would not get any spoilers so no need to wait 😉

Komagine and niihara definitely one of the top rising star actors, especially niihara who absolutely love theatre and jazz dance and choreography. No wonder he nailed his role in akasaka. I hope there'll be S3 because i want to see hayama go to london and the aftermath (just like the manga)
I stalked Yasu's profile and saw "Kamen Rider" in his previous projects. Damn, another one 🤣
One person said if an actor able to act in kamen rider, then that actor able to act in any roles (specifically bl). I even read one person said, actor in kamen rider will most likely be Men rider lol 😂
Naoya could act like a girl and I'd believe that shit. bro is too beautiful
Naoya act precisely like minato in the manga, feminine like a girl but sometimes manly if he needed to. I mean bro is so pretty like a girl sometimes too ngl lol (they did a great job for styling him)

I think it's because people expect akasaka to be a typical BL full-romance series, but instead akasaka is not only a romance but also personal character journey in life. I also think people didn't really fully grasp or understand what's akasaka is trying to deliver, so for some people love it if you fully able to understand the series better, but may be boring (or not their cup of tea) for some people who only here for BL romance only. But personally, this type of show is my favourite so no question it's always gonna be my top BL
I finished the latest episode a few days ago, and honestly? I’ve been chewing on it ever since. Something about…
Your insights and analysis needs to be pinned because you explained very well 🙌 i get that a lot of people who watch akasaka doesn't seem to grasped fully about what this series is trying to deliver. this series is not an ordinary romance but a real drama of person life. This is why i love akasaka, and hopefully s3 is on plan..
Shirasaki's actions in this episode really bothered me. If I were in a relationship, I'd be more mindful of personal…
Hopefully i can give an answer for your questions. These are mostly my opinion and analysis :) 1. In my opinion, Shirasaki and kiroki knows that their relationship is nothing beyond but respect and admire as colleague. Both understand their related feelings through the play and becomes more understanding each other (kind of like bestie in office moment). But they both know that they don't have any romantic feelings between them, other than respect so that's why they're close and comfortable but again nothing close to romantically. Kind of like when you just recently close with you coworker because, "oh you and i have the same experiences, i can relate to you too" type of moment.
2. The reason why shirasaki and hayama can't sit next to each other at the bar, because they have to keep their responsibility secret (even from yamase and sakuma, except hayama's best friend the guy who work at the gay bar). It's part of the deal with both managers in order to avoid potential scandal (it's the part of entertainment industry game, so gotta be extra careful).
And last, i think some people hammer shirasaki too hard. Yes, he's not perfect but he tries his best to let hayama to be able to express his feelings because we all know hayama is very quite and can't express his feelings very well, and this is why shirasaki plays important part for him. With shirasaki, hayama able to express his feelings even though he doesn't able to recognise what the name of what he's feeling and shirasaki able to named his feelings spot on, and by here hayama able to convey what's on his mind.
Their relationship is okay tbh, nothing dramatic, both keep their communication on top, positive in my opinion, and both are not perfect but yet they pieces together like a puzzle that has missing parts
I feel that's his character tho... he's putting up a facade and some people just don't express themselves well…
Agreed! I sometimes found myself just like asami (don't really express my feelings too well). But with the right approach and right person, i often able to express them. I think, this is why shirasaki is important for asami. Without shirasaki, he probably just bottled up everything but shirasaki knows how to approach him
am i the only one found this season very boring...not saying its not nice, just very dry
this series may not be for everyone indeed and that's okay. Akasaka always has mixed reviews since s1 (some say it's too slow and some say it's beautiful because of its rawness human emotions and the portray of regular life), yes the series may be move slower and monoton but it's just like regular life anyway. Akasaka is all about finding yourself while navigating past, present, and future of ourselves. and yes, nothing dramatic or fancy happen, just two people living their life <3 and personally this kind of show is something i like to watch. There are tons of jbl too that's coming out, and in mdl there is also a master list of jbl from old to new one, you can check it out..
