If I'm not mistaken, the manga only has 1 volume and it's completed
Yes I'm hoping there will be more volume but honestly it's quite an old manga (2019 if I'm not mistaken) but the story is well done and i don't think i need more volume or more drama (except maybe extra chapter), they already have their dream life and only us as reader to make predictions bout what life they live after their marriage
Aktor grający Chiakiego jest fatalnie dobrany pod względem wizualnym. Jest po prostu brzydki. I do tego ten…
I don't understand what do you mean ugly? they all have unique features, and handsome is subjective anyway. Their physical appearances are spot on just like the manga characters. When it comes to jdrama, don't expect the actors to have typical trendy similar hairstyles and smooth full foundation skin with no blemishes, pores, or oily face. They all unique and diverse as well as showing real ordinary human skins and appearances. The punk clothes honestly it's okay to me. Since i don't really know about punk style, to me it's good and similar to the manga as well
Season 2 is straight-up better than Season 1, and I’ll die on that hill - especially when it comes to the storytelling.Episode…
Agreed!! Their communication in eps 4 just spot on right on heart, navigating adult and real world. Their dialogue just made me think about life in general <3
Sakuma and shirasaki dialogue just hit the right spot of my heart as adult navigating the real world, making me sit in silent and thinking about life in general 🥹
ngl I'm not very happy about the casting but it might be because I like the original characters' looks too much…
I haven't seen any of the mls acting so don't know to expect yet considering this is their debut as main role. They do act in several shows but only as side roles and don't really have that much screen time but both really look exactly like the characters in manga which is hopefully good signs
Who are you responding to? I scrolled comments to the bottom of the first page and saw no rants against this as…
when the series first aired 2 episodes, many people in this comment section were mad about the car scene in ep 1, said that the series romanticizing that specific scene but in reality this series depicts the real bts of yakuza and in no way does the series try to romanticise it in any shape or form. And I also kind of confused bout why people are only mad about the first scene but not mad about the part about murder, or violence, and again this is a yakuza theme so we have to understand and be aware about what we're bout to watch. So yes, many people were blowing up about it at first in this comment section, calling it romanticizing, etc during it first air, but now i see people starting to understand the series better.
idk why Japanese BLs always get low ratings even if they happen to be top tier
it's not low tho but it should be higher tbh. I have seen some bl from other countries that are so mediocre or with not a great plot but get very high ratings. jbl on the other hand, even the most masterpiece jbl Our Youth who got only 8,5 (should be at least 8,9) always somehow got lower ratings and this where most people don't really trust MDL ratings on jbl because some jbl (even jdrama) with the most amazing storyline/plot just only got like 7+ sometimes even 6. never understand why tho...
Love how you explain this beautifully! I conclude that this story is about a people who have good heart but was…
I found the comment who have theories to explain the scene. The scene meaning is probably it's kataoka way to say goodbye or it's kind of metaphor that the boss is actually like men too. Either way, i have read the manga and when this scene appear. I still don't get it lol
I dont understand the reason for kissing the boss on the cheek. Unless it was his way of paying last respects,…
the moment when odajima fell for kataoka is quite subtle tbh so it's difficult to tell the exact moment of when and how. but i would say that these few moments are when i think odajima fell for kataoka:
1. eps 2 when kataoka hang out with 2 strangers, we get little glimpse of odajima expression, i think at that moment, odajima kind of see kataoka goodness of heart through that conversation with these 2 people. 2. same eps 2, when these two talk about consent. odajima are again able to see the inside of kataoka as a person. with this moment, he was (i think) taking a kind of like of kataoka and hence he gave his consent. 3. eps 3, we see these two starting to get to know each other (especially about odajima), and in this moment odajima felt like he was being listened to as a human being for the first time by anyone (apart from asahi), because before everyone treat him as a tool not human. 4. that let's get married scene, yup to me that's the moment odajima fall on kataoka in my opinion. 5. eps 4 those holding hands scene, yup there you go again with odajima just realized he's already fallen too far now lol. this is where he was confused about going for his duty or resume his feelings because when he was about to choke kataoka, he had a panic attack and remember about all those moments with kataoka, and then decides to just ignore his duty.
