Babe no one normalizing SA in this series, they depicts what happen behind close door of yakuza/mafia organizations irl (and we have to remind ourselves that these people are criminals, people who against law). You have to really read and understand the synopsis before watching it because it's clear that this is not fluffy stuff, it's dark stuff (similar to series "happy of the end")

I suspect people don't really like/enjoy reality-based series, but rather liking dramas that are 'very drama only on screen' drama, not 'realistically-life' drama. I'm still waiting for s2 tbh, so sad they don't have the budget because i was so invested

I recommend watching them with your gut feeling (not relying on MDL viewers), i learned that MDL giving such a low reviews to one of the best jdrama so watch with your experiences and gut. Japanese indeed never failed to deliver but the MDL ratings may not be delivering the experiences sometimes lol

Nope, i don't think the series trying to romanticizing cheating tho, in fact they gives us a view about people who cheats. Yes it's not okay AT ALL to cheat but seeing this drama can open our eyes about different perspectives and yes this drama is a bit terrifying cause this whole thing happens all the time irl

I think it's because the vibe they given, i read the manga and you just know "oh.. he's the top" or sort of 😂 but when it comes to the series, idk but hiro is more like a twink to me instead of natsuo haha and that's why it's a bit surprise hiro is the top at the series.
