Omg thank you so much for your comment. I’ve been reading a lot of people complaining about the series and they are in fact missing the whole point. It’s about teenagers, the mix of way too much time, hormones and figuring out your identity, leads to a lot of time either being paralyzed, doing random things to get distracted or obsessing over other people. I think this series (up till now) has captured that so so perfectly. I hated being a teenager but I remember how everything felt so much deeper because I had time to actually feel much more. Thank u for ur comment it eloquently says what I’ve been thinking!

I agree it's better to watch them as they air because you forget a lot of the bad things lol and when the ending comes it always takes me by surprise because I have forgotten half of the plot.

There's three in this list that I have watched as they aired and then binged watched and still loved them so much. So I can confidently say it does make a difference.

I came to this list after the Worst BL one and I was ready to criticize and talk about how you (a person on the internet whom i don't know) might just be very pretentious. But tbh I agree with a lot of the ones here. And I'm seeing ones that I will be putting on my list. This is a random comment but made me reflect a lot on how we act on this platform and the interweb in general.

Still can't forgive ITSAY and Bad Buddy tho, they might not have great plots but they are an experience to watch lol.

I normally wouldn't comment on this type of article as it leads to unnecessary misunderstandings but after reading the comments I'm noticing many things that worry me. I fear the problem is not wether legalisation is the best alternative or not, or wether Korea is being a hypocritical by being intolerant to drugs but having high rates of alcoholism. The truth is YAI broke the law by using ilegal drugs in a country where, well drugs are criminalized. I love YAI but that is the hard truth that we just have to accept. However in my very own personal opinion I believe the amount of hate he has received is not proportional to what he did. This type of hateful behavior is what on many ocassions has led many celebrities to unalive themselves. I'm very saddened that such a wonderful and foward thinking person has to go through this, while suffering depression and dealing with suicidal thoughts. Addiction too is a disease and it should be treated not hated or stigmatized. I hope we can see celebrities as people rather than things to prey upon when they are down, or things to worship when they are high.

The rating here does no justice to this series. If you are thinking of watching it, DO IT. It’s so good and very well-made. If you are interested in the topics it discusses and family dynamics, you will enjoy it.

THANK YOU, you expressed all of my thoughts in a very cohesive way lol. If they wanted it to be no plot just vibes, they had to create better characters, with much more depth. Also get better actresses cause' quite frankly (and no hate) Han Hye Jin was so bad and the "antagonist" too. Overall the pacing and the storyline is the main problem of this drama. I didn’t hate it by any means but there was wasted potential.

Is this actually good or was it because Taehyung recommended it that it suddenly got so popular? It's an honest question, I'm planning on starting it

Look I tried watching this drama but I am getting kind of tired. I am a fan of thrillers but this drama is not doing for me. Can someone tell me if it gets better? There were some surprising scenes at first but it keeps getting repetitive and I am losing interest quickly.

My problem with this series is that I absolutely loved the idea they were trying to portray but it was so badly organized and directed that I jusr had to drop it. I think at some point Joo Eun's character was just unnecessary and I didn't care about her story anymore. If it wasn't for Edward and Sophia I would have dropped it way sooner.

Man I'm late to the party but Looney deserved better, and yeah I know it was a realistic ending but man I just wanted my favorite character to be happy.

I liked the part about cohabitation because I never realized that the female lead is always desperate and at disadvantage. I'm also surprised that the percent of cohabitation has diminished since it is always a go to plot. Either way excellent article

Look I had a complicated story with this drama because I had tried to watch the first episode like 4 times and I just couldn't finish it. Time went by and I watched Life and I loved Jo Seung Woo's acting so I decided to give this another try. I started from the 2nd episode and I'm glad I did. This was so good, the acting was phenomenal, all the characters were well planned and the storyline developed so naturally. If you are thinking about watching, I promise you won't regret it.

Here again, I love your articles! I just finished watching Legal High so the ones you mentioned I had actually noticed but I love the way you put it in words. And also the shot you mention from Hello Monster is actually quite amazing I had forgotten about it. Again thanks for this great article as always!

This is actually a pretty good drama. I started watching it without expectations but ended up hooked. All the main characters are lovable, witty and funny. Are they maybe some things that weren't addressed? Yes, but overall the story flows pretty good. Would I watch a second season? Definitely, I really enjoyed this drama.

Back at it again with a great article. I didn't know this technique had a name but I always noticed it, especially in confusion. That dizziness always had a great effect and it was because of that angle. I love how it helps the scene portray better feeling. Again a wonderful article.

And also the poetic boxing I had noticed before I'm glad you gave it a name.
