no i will not convince you or spoil anything, but I'll address your worries. i was also skeptical about Esther Yu almost didn't watch this (one of my now fav show) cuz we know how she plays cute roles almost everytime. but this show is different. i didn't know anyone in the cast, not even ZLH but I tell you I can't stop thinking about this show even after finishing it.. FL is going to surprise you with how versatile she is and how mature her character is. the entire plot is amazing i binged it in two days. damn i just hope you won't miss out.
that was... wow. 9.5 rounded up to 10 stars bcs tho i initially wanted to reduce my score bcs of some draggy parts during the 2nd sword weilder test, i finished this in under 2 days which clearly means I was so invested despite the little flaw.

s2 would be amazing if the main actors could all return. I'll be seated for it, if it ever happens. time will tell,
i watched this right after completing s1 (I'm lucky ikik). I was absolutely engrossed with s2 as well despite the slower pace. but i kind felt that it was a stepping stone for s3, probably because of threads left hanging for s3 to handle. anyhow the stage has been set, let s3 deliever.
