i do agree with your comment on how most plots are reused and it's all about execution. however most series as of late are very mid in execution as well. i 100% agree with you especially with romcoms there's not many unique ideas and it's almost a mix match of cliches, which was also my intention of writing the comment. it's nothing new but if it works, it works ig.

I thought it was a standalone but it has so many prequels and sequels coming up. kinda expected it to have atleast a prequel tbh while watching. i wouldnt have started it if i had not been so blind to see the prequel mentioned here but since I already started and it's not too bad (also the highest treated among the entire series), I'll just watch this one as a standalone and leave it at that.

mid plot, might watch for a good laugh.
