What wrong with a girl chasing a man that you like? Why do girls alway wait for a man to chase you? I admire a…
yeah also it might be boring for her and some viewers if she portrays the same bold character right? choosing characters with different personalities could highlight her versatility as an actress. if she doesn't like that character, she can turn the offer down :)
also this is not pointed towards reba but common for all actors/actresses.
is it just me or the guy on the cover looks A LOT like Park Hyung Sik?
I knew yang yang (guy on cover) way before park hyung sik so I didn't think they were similar until you pointed it out lol. now that I look at it again, there sure seems to be some resemblance
*Spoiler * Why did this toxic drama become so famous ? The plot based on the character Oh Yoon he is so violent…
Even many highly rated dramas have some aspects they may not satisfy everyone. As for penthouse, I'd like to point out that this is a makjang drama which will have over exaggerated plot, which is not a genre for everyone. Some might think it's dumb while others don't mind and enjoy it. Not only the "behaviour, provocation and content" in penthouse but also aspects from other dramas like "weak FL", "poor woman/rich man", "love triangle", etc could be hated by some.
You asked why in 2021 are we okay with this. No, we are not okay with this in real life. There's so much bullying in the drama, while in real life, some k-actors and idols faced blacklash for school bullying. Imo, a hard working singer would not behave this way but work harder to prove he/she is worth more. Again, we come to a situation where we need to draw a clear line between dramas and reality. Dramas are made for entertainment, so we'll have to leave it at that.
Thinking that it's just a drama which kills time and gets us engaged is the way we can actually endure this heavy makjang. If we analyse the character mentality and their wrongdoings, we go mad. It's actually getting better so if you are interested, you can give it another chance! Also I'm sorry if my opinion is hateful because I don't intend to hurt anyone through this :)
Woah I expected this but I was surprised to see The Heirs on the list, in a very special big paragraph. The synopsis sounds bad but honestly it's my all time favourite. Many people seem to hate it but it was one of the very few that gave me all kind of emotions while watching. Come to think of it, I end up hating dramas that many like and I love those are hated by many hehe.
