Does the show spend more time showing the past life or the present, or is it about the same amount?
Thanks!

This was an absolute soap opera. I'm not sure that's exactly what the creators were going for, but that's what…

Title Our Universe
Was the boy in the car with the parents, is that why he has a patch on his cheek?
That's what I assumed. His mom was probably sitting in the back seat instead of riding shotgun in the car because he was back there. Also one of the people at the funeral made a comment about him being the only survivor while both his parents died in the crash

Title 365: Repeat the Year Spoiler
No romance in this drama?
They call each other partners and they've very protective of each other. There are a couple of hugs, they hold hands once... but those things usually happen during very intense scenes

How old is min si ho supposed to be?
I assumed early to mid 20s since in the childhood scenes (15 years ago) she looks to be between 5-10.

I liked the versions of the main characters from seven years ago. They seemed more like real people (grounded, quiet in their struggles, etc). But then there's the time skip and they've become these obnoxious versions of themselves. I know there's going to be character development and they're going to become more grounded people as the plot progresses. It will take time but they'll get back some of the traits they lost from 7 years ago. But I hope the obnoxiousness gets toned down sooner rather than later.

I have to ask before I keep watching. Is it one of those things where the male lead fully knows that he’s being…
Can you recommend other dramas where the ML lets himself be manipulated? I'm highly interested

Yap!
Drags until the end. These are some of the clingiest second leads in history who feel entitled to the main leads for no other reason than the fact that they've known each other forever. Like, each of the second leads got turned down MULTIPLE times and were like "I'll pretend I didn't hear that" or "Stop I don't want to hear the rest."

Title Tempest Spoiler
in some edits, I've seen some catholic symbolism in some scenes, can someone explain?
There's one specific catholic church that is heavily featured in the show. The priest there has an underground network that helps refugees from North Korea defect to the South. The ML lives/works at this church when he first meets the FL. She's there for an event. The church is the setting for a lot of dramatic scenes throughout the show and also serves as a sanctuary when characters are on the run. Aside from that, there are two necklaces/pendants with catholic symbols that often come up. But they are only important because of the people the FL associates with them. One is a gift from her late husband and the other is a gift from the ML. You see her wear the gift from her late husband when he dies, then wear both pendants for a while, and then only wear the ML's pendant etc. The pendant shows the progression of her feelings essentially

I’d probably in the minority who didn’t enjoy this series. It is all over the place, humor didn’t land on…
The tone was all over the place. One second it was dark/serious and the next humorous and the next romantic etc etc.

some say that the first episodes are boring, and it gets better after. I had a very different experience, I’d…
I liked the first two episodes too, mostly because the focus was entirely on the main characters. Too many characters get introduced as the story progresses

Title Tempest
is it worth it for the romance?? i hate politics
They're cute. There's a lot of close proximity/incidental touching while he is protecting her from threats. They share these small moments of intimacy in every episode and those moments escalate as the series goes on, going from incidental to intentional. Watch until the train scene. If you're not on board by then, it's probably not your cup or tea

Title Tempest Spoiler
As of episode 5, Stella Young moved to Korea 10 years ago and FL's husband's illegitimate kid is 9 years old. The kid also draws pictures of vacationing in Sweden and the submarine parts Stella Young bought are from Sweden. So Stella is definitely someone connected to the kid. I was thinking it was the kid's mom, but if not then it's probably someone else in the family...

Title Born Again
Is this worth watching? It's got a good cast but somewhat low ratings. I'll probably pass.
Going by the comments, a lot of people seem to have rated it low because they wanted the second lead to get the girl. I like the cast too so I'm planning on checking it out for myself

Title Delightfully Deceitful Spoiler
Is there any romance ?
Kiss + handholding (partly to pull off their cons), taking care of each other when they're sick or hurt, FL living at ML's house when she doesn't have a place to stay, ML declaring he will be the one by her side until the end, other characters saying the main leads like/love each other and they don't deny it, etc. Both characters start out a little too set in their ways (ML is overly righteous and FL is overly focused on revenge no matter the cost). But as they spend more time together, they learn to trust each other and really balance each other. It's great seeing the growth, not only of their relationship but also of them as individuals.

The mythology in this was very interesting. Most of the time when it comes to fantasy romances, it's the romance that keeps me watching. But I kept coming back to find out more about the mythology and see how everything plays out. The romance is cute too! But that's more like a bonus to the gripping plot. I had low expectations going in because the premise sounds cheesy but I really enjoyed it. The fantasy elements start really developing around the end of episode 4 and get better and better from there. The story line also moved pretty fast because it's a 12 episode drama instead of the usual 16.
