Ding qi and song yan were the best personalities ,I think. THOUGH all of them were good.
If by “best” personalities you mean his coolest and most charismatic characters, then I agree haha. But the reason I said I lean more toward Wang Xin, at this moment (as it changes every time) is because Always on the Move has more solid writing and is the drama I’ve had the most fun rewatching among his three dramas with police roles. I really enjoy his antics and his dynamic with his mentor, he’s so arrogant in a way that makes you laugh.

Sang Yan is like the ultimate dreamy romantic ML in fiction. He really set the bar for how an aloof, proud character with restrained emotions should be portrayed. I usually can’t stand cold, stoic MLs, I hate them with a passion but his take on Sang Yan made me realize this archetype can actually be really charming with the right approach. It genuinely shifted my perspective lol. Idk how he does it, like I can't exactly pinpoint what made his portrayal so charming but his performance added so much depth and nuance to the character, it could’ve easily been boring and one-dimensional but he made Sang Yan so fascinating, with real layers and clear inner conflict.

From an acting fan’s perspective though, Ding Qi is the one that really got me. I didn’t even like the drama that much (I wish it had a stronger and more cohesive plot) but something about the way he portrayed Ding Qi just hit different and made me kinda greedy for the first time lol. It got me yearning to see him in more roles with a similar edge, something like a secret agent, elite bodyguard or a hitman. Imo he should play more of these cool-type roles, he just has that effortless charisma when he’s in character, especially in the way he talks, moves, and embodies them.

These days I’ve been rewatching Bai Jingting's dramas out of pure boredom, going back to a few episodes of You Are My Hero, Always on the Move and Mobius, since his upcoming role is also in the police genre. Watching them back-to-back really made me realize just how distinct Xing Kelei, Wang Xin and Ding Qi are from one another. There’s barely any overlap between them, their speech, presence and mannerisms all feel completely unique. It really does feel like three completely different people.

What’s impressive is that, despite their differences, each character is still equally charming in their own way. Bai Jingting really has a knack for making his roles likable. I honestly can’t rank them because my favorite changes depending on the moment but right now, I’m leaning a bit more toward Wang Xin. He's simply endearing lol. And Always on the Move will always be one of my comfort dramas, especially since slice of life is my favorite genre.

I’m really curious to see what kind of personality and charm Ren Jiangchuan will bring, especially with that rugged, tanned look of his hehe. It’s possible he might carry a blend of Xing Kelei, Wang Xin and Ding Qi in some way. Either way, I’m sure Bai Jingting will absolutely nail the role with his captivating charisma and screen presence~

"Thank you all for watching! I know the video might have disappointed some of you, as there's no footage of Bai Jingting. Since he's a celebrity, I can't spoil the show, leak any set content, or film the cast randomly. Please wait patiently for the drama to air and watch it officially.

Bai Jingting (we all call him "Xiao Bai") is truly outstanding: he's handsome, has a great personality, and keeps a low profile. On set, he's dedicated, hardworking, and extremely professional, which I deeply admire. He's very approachable and has a high EQ, treating all crew members with great kindness-no trace of arrogance at all. Seeing how hard everyone was working, especially in the cold weather, he treated the entire cast and crew to milk tea, which was so warm and sweet. Even though he's been exhausted these past few months, he never let his personal emotions affect his work, which is really rare and impressive."

Unpopular opinion but I actually like that Bai Jingting’s upcoming dramas aren’t idol dramas 😭 which means…
I watch all kinds of genres but I still love romance and slice-of-life the most haha. I usually only check out other genres if my favorite actors are in them.

People calling him names over zero interaction is honestly funny and ridiculous because it didn't come from only one side. It’s not like he was intentionally ignoring those who greeted him. Anyway, I’m sure they have good reasons for not interacting publicly. People really need to stop reading too much into it and just mind their own business.

Of course, I always welcome new genuine fans but I’m not really fond of the idea of him becoming too popular and being exposed to too many people, because there will always be bitter and mean people for no reason. I’ve seen other actors get dragged over baseless rumors and distorted narratives spread by random melon accounts, and I’d hate to see something similar happen to him and affect his reputation. I mean, this has already happened on Weibo but it’d be frustrating if it gets brought over to intl platforms. These days, so many people lack critical thinking and are quick to believe whatever they see online. Once a certain narrative is established, it becomes hard to challenge or defend against, and facts don’t seem to matter anymore. This is what worries me most as I see him becoming more well-known. I wish all the talk about him could just stay focused on his work.

Unpopular opinion but I actually like that Bai Jingting’s upcoming dramas aren’t idol dramas 😭 which means he can stay relatively lowkey and under the radar for a while. After all, a lot of international cdrama fans tend to focus on idol dramas.

Even though I love idol dramas too and I’m happy he’s gaining more international recognition through TFF, at the same time, I don’t really like the idea of him being perceived by too many people. The international cdrama community is getting bigger every day and with that comes more negativity and people inserting unwanted opinions. It's just a matter of time before it becomes incredibly toxic and insufferable like the kpop and kdrama spaces. I like him a lot, so I’m quite sensitive when I come across unpleasant comments about him or his dramas especially from relatively new and ignorant cdrama fans. I don't need to see more of that. People who don't actually know him or follow his career need to keep him out of their mouth fr.

I know that celebrities being well-known naturally brings more scrutiny and toxicity but I still prefer him to stay a bit underrated so I can stan him peacefully. I don’t need him to constantly be in the spotlight or be one of the most talked about, it’s enough that I know he’s getting better and better as an actor and that his works are doing well and getting recognition domestically. Also, I think I’d be fine if he did an idol drama every other year.

If the rumor about his next drama being War and People is true and he’ll be acting alongside Yu Hewei, I’m really happy for him. Yu Hewei has tons of hit dramas, critical acclaim and strong mainstream recognition. He’s easily one of the top senior actors. I love that he gets to work with someone of that caliber. It’d be a valuable experience and a great opportunity overall for him. Personally, I hope he has a long and successful career like Yu Hewei~

Hope we get some wrap-up teasers and a sneak peek at the drama’s setting. I’m really curious what it'll look…
I know with this drama’s setting, their target market isn’t really international fan but c'mon they can give us at least an English title...

It’s far from a waste. Despite its flaws, the drama is a huge hit at home and abroad, loved by so many. Its…
I’ve read the novel and I still love the adaptation just as much, if not more. There are some things the drama could have done better but there are also some things it did better than the novel.

You’re free to feel however you feel about the changes, no one is invalidating that. I also think the writing could have been stronger in certain areas but I don’t believe the characters or story were messed up that badly. It’s really just a matter of perspective. For example, harassment in a shady rental place or at the workplace is unfortunately not uncommon. It does happen in real life. Despite everything, those situations showed how Yifan bravely stood up for herself and handled things in her own way.

As for the second “running” arc, I personally see it as a period where Yifan was rediscovering herself and reflecting on her life. When she filled her time with studying and basic ballet teaching, it felt like a quiet, self-introspective phase where she was working to better herself. It was also her way of finally confronting and fulfilling the old dream she had to abandon bc of the past incident. It’s not pointless “running”, it’s growth, healing and learning to face her avoidant tendencies and past regrets, making peace with them before she could fully open up to love again.

In the meantime, the drama showed Sang Yan traveling to different cities and making an effort to learn about her past on his own. That’s pretty nice change from the novel, where he got upset that Yifan didn’t tell him anything about her past and made her feel guilty for that. I appreciate the drama’s version bc him making the effort to understand her without pressuring her was really heart-touching and shows how deep and selfless his love truly is. One of my favorite quotes that reflects this: "From Nanwu to Yihe, then to Beiyu. I've been everywhere she might have gone. And suddenly, I realized... how small her world was, like a life trapped in a cage."

But I also understand the other perspective who prefer the novel version. Anyways, my previous comment is mainly responding to your “what a waste of their talent tbh” bc I don’t agree with that. They did their best with the script they were given and still managed to move so many people and make so many empathize with what the characters went through. I’ve come across a lot of personal stories from those with avoidant attachment who deeply resonate with Yifan. That in itself is a huge achievement. When a character manages to make so many people feel truly seen, validated and less alone in their struggles, that’s one of the most meaningful things storytelling and actors can accomplish.

Like I said, no talent was wasted in this adaptation, especially given its huge success, the way it has changed many lives and how it has become one of the most memorable and emotionally moving romance stories in recent years.

Happy 1st anniversary to my absolute fav and comfort drama. TFF literally raised the standards way too high for…
Meanwhile, I choose not to move on haha. This drama will always have a piece of my heart. Sometimes my obsession may calm down, but every now and then I know I’ll spiral all over again 😆 This drama gave me everything I wanted in a romance, so I've come to accept that I’ll never fully get over it! 🩷

Exactly bro Unnecessary second couple, yifan leaving sang yan for 2nd time. These two changes are not ok for me
A lot of people prefer the changes because, in the novel, he makes it all about himself. In the drama, it’s Sang Yan who travels to different cities on his own to find out what happened to her, which is consistent with his character and even elevates it. The emotional payoff is so worth it, making their reunion even more heartbreaking. I appreciate the changes and it makes me love Sang Yan even more. But hey to each their own.

Almost a year later & im still mad at the screenwriter-director for messing up this story & the characters…
It’s far from a waste. Despite its flaws, the drama is a huge hit at home and abroad, loved by so many. Its best moments completely outweigh the imperfections. This will always be a romance masterpiece for many, with once-in-a-lifetime chemistry, endless rewatch value, and most importantly, characters who leave a lasting mark on fans’ hearts.
