I dropped Doctor Slump as I was annoyed by the leads drinking together as a way to deal with depression in life.…
Although I personally love drinking, I found it very irresponsible of the writers of Doctor Slump to include so many drinking scenes while the protagonists were taking controlled medication. This is something that should never be portrayed as normal, because there are consequences. I’m still not sure if I’ll watch Second Shot at Love, but you are absolutely right with that observation.

Finished! And in the end, I think I’m going to miss my Mondays and Tuesdays with Divorce Insurance.

For me, the real highlight is the main characters. They all feel very human — with flaws and strengths, acknowledging their mistakes and trying to fix them. Each of the six leads goes through a really compelling personal journey, and it’s a joy to follow along.

That said, I also felt they were kind of wasted at times, just to make room for the stories of the divorce insurance clients — who, as viewers, we didn’t really have time to connect with. To me, it felt like those parts were interrupting the main characters’ own storylines. I also found the constant problems around the insurance launch a bit exhausting — and sometimes even forced.

Week by week, it was good fun. Now I want to binge it and see if that makes things feel more cohesive — or if some parts still get lost.

Either way, I’m left with a warm feeling in the end. The main characters’ desire to start over really inspired me and left me with a sense of comfort.

Title The Divorce Insurance Spoiler
I think the biggest problem here is that they focus so much in the problems of couples that got the insurance and so little in the main character's problems. I mean, is so obvious that they are very traumatized people, each one in a way, but then they get off the city to find a husband who wants to go after a tiger in korea (!!!). Some stories are indeed captivating (like the old couple) but others I honestly can care less.

I want to see the main characters developments! Want to see KiJoon talking about the loss of his sister cause to him and lead him to take 3 divorces, I want to Handeul to gain her confidence again, I want to know the deepest reason Ayeong wants to marry herself, I want to understand why Jeongman became so methodic and why Narae decided to marry in the first place because she always want a free relationship.

I saw a clip from the last episodes so maybe some things will happen, but only in the last episodes makes me so angry. Lets see how it will be. I love the characters but it seems like they are wasted week after week.

Title The Potato Lab Spoiler
I just finished episode 10, and I mostly like this drama. But what bothered me first was the little girl scenes.…
Me too! I hate when the adults do everything that a kid wants even when the kid is nosy and they don't want to do it.

And I'm sure the ending will be happy, but I hope they make up in next episode for the last being they sharing nice moments, and not like other dramas when the couple only gets together again in the last 5 minutes 😭

I think guest is fitting, we really don’t see him often enough to be supporting.
I understand but other actors like Oh Jung Se and Lee Jun Young are credited as supporting and they just appear and left also.
But to be honest I was just kidding about a 'guest character' end up being the mysterious husband of a main character, it's not something that I am truly bothered. 😅

He doesn't appear much after "getting married", so I agree it's Guest role

I get where you're coming from but could you honestly imagine Victor Ma leading this romance drama? I couldn't…
I get both of you and yes, BJT is the right choice for TFF, but my point is just that I can't see him as the same character from Hidden Love 😅 for me makes sense that being a whole new show and both shows are apart than a spin off.
But the story is great and I am enjoying, I just finished the episode that Zhi comes to visit and thought about that

kinda bothers me that the cast isn't the same of hidden love, I think it still would be a success if it were a whole new story with new characters because sang yan personality is so different in each show that I can't picture him being THAT zhi's brother and THAT jiaxu's friend.
it's my only complaint, I'm liking the show a lot

for the ones who likes enemies to lovers trope, maybe will like that. they're both insufferable as human beings: he is stubborn and snobby and she is rude and acts like she's the only one who's ever right. and I hate the plot when elders must be respected no matter what, even when they’re rude and intrusive like the villagers.
but I think will be awesome when the leads will start to develop feelings because they hate each other so much right now so the love will be intense I'm hoping haha

Yeah, I feel like there is a difference between characters being flawed, to make them more human, and straight…
Yes! And I think they tried to make them humans with mistakes and everything but they're so so self centred, all of them, that's kinda pissed me off. Gyeom didn't talk straight away to Mubee that "my brother had a car accident and my life turned upside down that's why I disappeared" but just stalking her and doing that childish thing to become "enemies", I mean, guy you were wrong! Talk to each other! Both of you!
And I was relieved that 2nd couple didn't ending together because they're not good to eachother at all. I don't understand why they have so many fans because Mubee and Gyeom at least worked in their problems but 2nd ML just blamed the 2nd FL about everything bad that happened to him and her blind faith in him makes me uncomfortable.

The ending is open but the journey is very much interesting. I have to say, at some point I was hating everyone but the narrative is so captvating that I can't drop.

I liked LND overall but to highlight one thing that I thought that was really cool is the fact that Mo Eum go to Antarctica anyway, even that she just started a relationship with someone she loves. I thought it was a great advice for anyone: go after your dreams and the ones you love and who loves you will always be there for you. 🥰

To be honest, if I knew it was that way, I didn't started to watch. It kinda reminds me Nicholas Sparks' novels.

Title The Light in Your Eyes Spoiler
I liked and I don't at the same time. I mean... (my opinions with spoilers 👇)
I don't understand the beginning! it was so detailed! she having the dream to be an anchor and the brother and mom fighting about pork belly, the ladies at the beauty salon, the neighbours gossiping, it was so so well done that I was truly sad to know that 2019 and 25 years old Hye Ja didn't exist! That story that she throw up when confessed her love to her senior, that other girl who have a crush in Joon Ha, Joon Ha's grandma and oh my god I was so sad in her funeral when Hye Ja can't come! And nothing existed! It gets me frustrated asf and I didn't understand how it fits to the real story to be honest. So many details to be absolutely different at the end? Doesn't makes sense to me. But, after a few episodes I started to think it may be Alzheimer or another dementia related, but the beginning still makes me believe it wasn't. I was shocked when the revelation comes and how everything was in the past and in the present time. Hye Ja and Joon Ha story was so so sad and beautiful at same time. In the end I was with a bittersweet feeling, I like they're finally together again but oh God everything in between makes me sad.
