the drama actually finished filming before the webtoon ends. it's hard to explain the webtoon ending here but yea it kinda ends in a somewhat similar way? but i suggest reading the webtoon anyway + "shotgun boy" prequel webtoon written by the same author!

and i dont think this show was set to have a happy ending where both the main characters live, so i believe the best ending is for hwal to die BUT THEN it's also possible for sangwoon to be the one who ends up dead and i dont like it :')
