I rarely write reviews about dramas, but when I do, it means I really liked them. So far I wrote one in Crash Landing on You and now this will be my 2nd one.

There are 2 sentences that got stuck with me:
"Even if it starts raining and you're the only one without an umbrella, just get wet. Run for a bit and you'll soon be home"
"All humans are terminally ill. They'll be able to live forever as long as they don't know it"

(I might have rephrased them a bit, but the core is there, and let me tell you, these 2 touched me for several reasons.)

This drama makes you have some different perspectives in life and ultimately makes you realize that sometimes what feels like a sad ending, is actually a good ending and the start of something new. Everything that ends, starts something else.

If you look at the drama in a literal way, you might find it cliché or uninteresting at some point, but that's when you need to read between the lines and find the deeper meaning in their words and actions.

I wouldn't say this is the best drama ever and everyone has to love it, but it surely was a really enjoyable one, that allowed me to start looking differently at things from now on.

As someone who terribly fears death, but simultaneously doesn't leave the comfort zone, after watching this I realized how vulnerable we all are and how one day "tomorrow" could end up never coming. We won't have someone who tells us how long we have to live, so we start living to not die with regrets. We need to live everyday as if we're going to die tomorrow. This is the most cliché thing ever, but after watching this, it suddenly became very true and fearful in my head. Am I even living or merely existing? If I'm just existing, then I'm "nothing". I want to live and use the time that I think I have to actually live life, and not just wait for bigger things to come. Let's do our best and try to live a happy life, even if it rains and we don't have an umbrella at that time. We'll get wet and sad at times, but we can always just run a bit and we'll soon be home. :)

"Can I tell you a secret? There is no next life, now is everything you have."

This one has become my favorite Kdrama up until this point, which is bad, because any other drama will feel bland to me now. Went into this drama not knowing what it was about and no expectations, ended up getting totally swallowed by the story, the characters, this different type of romance, more mature and sophisticated than any I've seen before. This brought me joy, anger, frustration, sadness, relief, a whole rollercoaster of emotions. This one makes you value what you have and who you have in your life. We never miss what we never had, but sometimes we don't value what we always had. Almost makes me believe in fate, and hope for something like this. People always tell me things happen for a reason, they aren't just coincidences. This show does tell you that and I hope we can all get in the wrong train that takes us to the right place, at least once in our lives, should be enough.
