In an interview Bai Lu said she hopes to not do idol dramas in the future.
I saw that too. It seems she is ready to transition into doing more mainstream roles. This isn't a bad thing at all, it's just the next step in her career. I'm sure there will be lots of interesting roles ahead for her regardless.

is it me or the male actor chem with bai lu just bland i feel like if the male lead was somone else the drama…
No you're not the only one. I've been saying this about their chemistry since the beginning. I really don't feel it at all.

Obviously there is going to be lots of differing opinions on this.

i love my boy and bailu DONT GET ME WRONG but is it just me or does the romance feel a bit underdeveloped?? like…
Glad to see I'm not the only one thinking this. I really have enjoyed the show but think the chemistry is definitely lacking a bit between most of the characters. It's all very surface level. They're in love because we're being told they are but I don't feel it. I think it's a writing issue for the most part. But ARP's performance has been underwhelming to me from the beginning.

They are seen as repetitive and overdone, and in some cases cheesy. There is some truth to that, I suppose. Many…
I really like them too! I'm just saying this is the mindset towards to Xianxia atm and why they seem to be looked down on to a degree. I do think some do it better than others though.

Why do i feel like xianxia dramas are not popluar like other dramas🤔🤔🤔
They are seen as repetitive and overdone, and in some cases cheesy. There is some truth to that, I suppose. Many tend to have very similar tropes and storylines. And I say this as someone who really likes them. Only a few Xianxia's in the last few years have really stood out as massive.

It is because Ao Ruipeng is too handsome and he looks so kind🥹Most of us keep seeing him as lei wujie and not…
I've never seen him as Lei Wujie so that's not the reason for me. Whether he's good looking or not is also irrelevant to me as plenty of handsome actors have played different roles well. I also don't really think Fan Yue is supposed to be heartless. I just feel the performance and chemistry is kind of lacking.

But it's all subjective opinion of course!

A pretty good drama so far. It's not groundbreaking for a xianxia, but it's still fun. But I find the chemistry between the leads very underwhelming. It's not there for me at all. The ML's performance feels like it's missing something.

Title Love Is Panacea Spoiler
is this a happy ending drama..?
No. It's bittersweet/sad. FL has a real terminal degenerative illness. You can do the math.
