I totally agree. Some of the mother's decisions ahve been way off. But 2 things. 1. She is so similar to her daughter, that she ia caught off guard. She doesnt know how to deal with her. In the army, a soldier who has a lack of discipline is trained harshly until they "fall in line". She is trying to use that method here, which is obviously going to fail. That kid has not got a problem of lack of discipline. Shes been in survival mode all her life, trying to escape the schemes of her "family". 2. She is afraid that now CSS has reached a marriageable age, she will be mistreated by her in laws if she doesnt change her ways. So she has to cram into her what the cousin has taken all her life to learn in a span of a couple years at most. CSS' method of an eye for an eye will not work after marriage and will cause her a lot of trouble, which is waht the mother is afraid of.
Honestly.. this sucks... why?? Why did i think it would be a good idea to start a new drama?? When i know better... 😵 its a terrifying habit.binge watching. And not being able to do that.. is ugh!! I wanna know what happens next soon.....!!!! Worse, there's no translated book to read either!! 😱ðŸ˜
Soooo... apart from the story spoilers and whatnot.. is there anyone else who is getting the vibes of ML/FL of Rebirth of the Malicious Empress here? Not the story wise, but the leads.. somehow i think ZL & LW would be the perfect cast for it..
P.S Also loving the dynamics of the family. So very real, how the elders just want to set kids right. For a clever general, her mum is being blinded by everything other than her live for the FL. Her wanting to show equality by being partial is one of the dumbest things Ive seen. SMH
I Reeeeeaaaallly wamma watch this, but after reading ao many comments about Xiao Zhans character being put down to hype the ML,who i also like but not enough, I'm having 2nd thoughts. Are they treating him that bad!? Maybe ill just rewatch Military academy, atleast MLs are all ok and end up happy. Im confused, please help..
