Ignore every bad review. The leads have insane chemistry not to mention gorgeous scenery. The cinematography alone should win awards. It's definitely a romance in my eyes but there are no romantic scenes but don't let that put you off. I think the leads made it obvious without explicitly stating it. I don't regret watching it, a very beautiful watch.

I watched this movie and I absolutely adored the chemistry between the two leads. I know it isn't explicitly labelled as a romance but the eyes never lie. The way they looked at each other warmed my heart and gave me butterflies. I love movies where nothing explicit happens but just little gestures to show their acts of love, such as the eye contact they gave or when Tian Yu put his arms around Xiang waist. Oh my gosh....that small gestured solidified they were in love for me. I'm just sad because the fireworks scene I was 100% xiang was going to confess, the way he dressed up nice and see if he smelled nice. When he died I mentally checked out. There's too many gay love stories with sad endings and this was another one. I wasn't even sad just disappointed. I mean it's 2024 gay people are allowed to have happy endings!!! The end scene was nice I guess they have a chance to reunite and to fall in love all over again. But xiang deserved so much better he sacrificed himself for his love :(

Last episode was a masterpiece. I’m so glad dohoe can forgive himself rather than torturing himself all those years. He’s so lucky to have someone like juyeong. They both love each other unconditionally regardless of their flaws. I want what they have so bad.

they would have to do a lot for me to like this character. the internalised homophobia is not cutting it enough for me. that does not give you the right to be a piece of sh*t. how can you bully your closest friend and cause him nothing but misery because your busy dealing with your conflicting feelings for him. that's making me mad, i want to sympathise with him so bad .... but who knows maybe he will change because we see that he cares about him in his own little unique way. and unfortunately he is very hot too...so i will be looking forward to his character development (if he gets any at all)

i made the mistake watching this while this airs. now each minute is excruciating :(
