Going to rent here because of the hypocrisy of you all :- Hi all the new commentators who only showed up now -…
This drama was actually better than most dramas out there, regardless of the ending. Rating it so low is an injustice to Go Ara & LJW’s excellent performance. I understand some were disappointed with the ending but if you think about it, isn’t it better for Jun to be alive than dead? It’s also not that surprising for the writer to end it the way she did coz she used a lot of plot twists throughout the drama that often mislead the viewers (ie. Sec. Moon being a baddie, Dr. Cha & his pills, etc). In kdrama world, this drama still ended on positive note. It may have been poorly executed but it was a happy ending. Btw, I rated this drama a 9. I became a fan of LJW coz of this drama. This boy has a lot of potential with his acting skills! Will be looking out for his future projects (:
Please don't rate base on last minutes cos Jun did what he thought best for Ra Ra. I don't think there is one…
Yes, scoring it so low coz of the ending is an injustice to Go Ara & LJW’s excellent performance. DDSSLLS is still one of the better dramas out there tbh
Still giving it an 8.5, even with that ending. This drama as a whole made my life brighter.
Same, I rated it a 9. Though the ending was poorly executed, this is still one of the better dramas out there. The chemistry, acting & overall feel of the drama is superb
Well, it was mentioned that they had a 5-yr age gap. RaRa was 24 while Jun was 19 when they started their relationship. With this, I’m assuming Rara is now 29 & Jun is 24 after the time skip. Though I don’t agree with the reason (Jun being terminally ill) or duration (5 yrs is indeed quite long), the time skip was needed for them to be in the same ‘accepted’ age bracket for them to be able to do what they want without having the age gap issue
Ok, I did ask for a time skip before, but this one ... is NOT IT lol
Agree. Technically, Jun was not an ‘adult’ yet when they were together. The time skip was needed to show that he’s now over the age of consent & that he & Rara can be accepted by society as a couple (both in their 20s). But it was really a bad execution for a happy ending. Not surprising though as writer did a lot of these fake outs all throughout the drama
I think Jun died after all. Ra Ra was playing the same music when she welcomed Jun home, so she envisioned him…
This is my reply to one of the comments here. Imma just paste it (:
This drama had a lot of fake outs all throughout so it was not surprising that the writer ended it the way it did. Glad it’s still a happy ending though poorly executed.
Some clues why he’s alive: - In their last conversation, Jun literally said he wanted full recovery before he meets RaRa again - Jun is dressed up & looked like he’s grown in 5 yrs. Remember they had an age gap & technically Jun was not an ‘adult’ yet when they were together? The time skip was needed to show that he’s now over the age of consent & that he & Rara can be accepted by society as a couple (both in their 20s) - If it was a dream sequence, it should have happened earlier & not 5 yrs later
I missed to tag my reply above as spoiler & not sure how to edit lol

Yes, it was another fake out that the writer did. This drama had a lot of misleading twists which ended positively. It was just there to confuse the viewers. I’m glad it’s still a happy ending though poorly executed.
I sometimes wonder whats wrong with predictable who said it's a bad thing, why do writers try to be too clever?…
