This was mentioned only very briefly that there’s Tantai emperor who wears a mask. Of course if wasn’t explained till the end it was YQY all all mg. He is an immortal because remember the Fox spirit giving him her life when he took that arrow for her? But yeah I heard YQY was supposed to appear earlier in the last few episodes explaining that he has been the emperor all along for the past 500 years (but got cut)

He’s also in and the winner is love. Nothing to write home about, if you want to see him on screen go watch it! It’s a little boring tbh but I love watching him lol.

Agree! While I am glad he was at peace in the end, he was forced into a tragic life with a tragic ending! No one would want that if they had a choice, he would spend that time with Li SuSu.

I felt episodes 30+ was a rush there were open plot holes and some things didn’t make sense (due to editing)

This is how I saw it also. She came to love him in the end. You can definitely see her internal struggle up till the immortal arc.

Yeah that’s a piece of his spirit like MY god was in there before he left. That’s why to me I don’t know (with to the current ending TTJ would reincarnate since all the gods before died and didn’t reincarnate) with the audio ending he did.

Someone mentioned it was intentional as it contributes to her character development. It gets better and you’ll see the development.

I felt the same about the starry love ending too 🥹 this one I felt unsatisfied but then the audio ending came out and I’m a bit happier. But yeah wished there was an actual scene in the drama for that.

At what point does li susu fall in love with Tantai Jin? Was trying to figure out at what point because she wants to complete her mission and whatnot. I think when she tried to do all the lovey dovey stuff (cooking him food etc) it was hinting she fell for him. Did she fall for him before that?

Yep that is how I saw it too. The black and devil was just a facade. His true intentions are pure and good.

I watched the starry love too while waiting for the episodes to come out. The starry love ending though open, it’s happy cause at least the twins will reincarnate again lol. This one is leaning towards him not reincarnating and living on as a spirit inside the scale 🥹

Agreed. I think near the end like episode 30 and onward for choppy and sloppy and I got confused on some parts and need to read the posts to figure out what’s happening. I definitely wouldn’t call this HE. I wish he was reincarnated to live his life happily not attached to the devil god and live out the life himself with LSS and daughter. It isn’t even explained that the sects still saw him as the devil god after his death at the end or they found out that he had planned to sacrifice himself to save everyone :/
