That was the biggest question to me too....Like HyoDo can be in LOVE love with TaeHee but the fact that he knows…
I had the same thought, not now, but when Yeom was telling TM that all he and his mother wants for him to become chairman and his sister married or something. TM was also perplexed about it, and I was throwing in the tidbit that he might not be a Kang, but some others commented that there would be no way that he would NOT be a Kang and that grandma would allow a non Kang as the Director. We definitely know that TH is monkey with grey hair child. Will have to wait and see if TM is also his or he might be the chairman's child.
I think her acting was much better in Bravo my Life, than this one. It is all over the place in this drama, but…
They were the worst couple where one went on road 1 and the other went on road 2 180 degrees off. Crazy couple. After FL ditched ML without telling him - she was just cray cray.
I'm very happy Nam Sangji won award. Personally i was disappointed when she didn't get it during Bravo My Life.
I think her acting was much better in Bravo my Life, than this one. It is all over the place in this drama, but I do like some of the scenes with her acting. I think it has also gotten better with time too.
Finally in today's episode, the nurse that Taeho had contacted in the earlier episodes, outs out the person who was responsible for his grandmother suffering and death. Nice episode with Mirim taking responsibility for Hyojun. Taehee escapes and is seen registering her marriage with Hyodo. (in preview). Sad to see that Hyodo has not matured at all - no character development. Best was Taeho and Hyoshim doing normal things. Shopping, figuring out what to do next (HS) and TH drinking away to oblivion and coming home to HS, Smart move of Grandma to get away with the police when found where she was. The nurture from the resident was awesome. Gaon bringing fruits and landlady cooking food .
Oh also i kept forgetting to mention it, but since i just saw a smiling HS looking at her bankbook in the preview…
Actually there is a secret that TM does not want TH to know. So, he forbid TH from seeing his father who was in the hospital. I did not get every conversation between TM and dad, but from what I understood, he kept saying that he did not have any hand in the death of his brother. But everybody pointed him as a killer including his own mother. TM mom said that it was his dear dad who killed his brother out of rage.
I watched today's episode live and we got a kiss Finally!!πππππ HS mother was horrible even in this episode. She wanted HS to support her brothers and her niece and then someone else and the entire universe before she could date and get married. What an evil person. I think TH gave HS an ultimatum and she came to the river bank and it was pretty emotional for TH. Loved the photography or choreography of the entire scene. TM helped the HS with news anchor and did not get all the conversation, but TM refused to go eat out when HS said she wanted to thank him for doing her a favor.
I think after seeing this episode, my brain is confused with the ages and timing of everything.
We saw that JA did something publicly to KCY and we have yet to figure out what it was and why DG spent a night with KCY which caused a misunderstanding leading to a divorce.
It is not that I like CY or anything, but JA would not want to hear the truth coming from anyone. At this point…
Please don't let other stop you from commenting. I think some of them are so passionate about CY having raised JA's kids. I guess DG is a good for nothing hubby - as CY manages the finances too. So, with CY calling and setting up to talk with JA was her way of fulfilling the obligations as DG 's wife and EA and EH's mother. As you feel, I also think that she deserves respect and an amount of gratitude from JA. CY also has some issues and faults but they are more of adult nature and has not much bearance on her raising EA and EH.
It is not that I like CY or anything, but JA would not want to hear the truth coming from anyone. At this point…
could be true. But knowing DG and how she did not believe DG 30 years ago that nothing happened between DG and CY that led to the divorce, I don't think JA would absorb anything from anyone.
JA was knocked into the present when EH addressed her as Maam (Ajomoni). She realized she was the stranger and could not tell him who she was. Until then, she was ready to go spill the guts to EH and EA. She was shocked and she is acting erratic. I think it is pretty normal.
But what I dislike about JA is that she should have some gratitude towards a human being who raised her kids. Irrespective of who that person is. I don't see that from her. I guess SJ's words will knock her from being oblivious.
That's not what it looks like to me in that preview. The chicken fryer looking cocky and I don't blame JA for smacking…
She is simply telling the truth. I did not see her as cocky. JA does not want to hear about it. She is still in a mindset 30 years ago. Right now, it is not about her, but EA and EH. JA needs to walk the line very delicately. The minute she talks trash about CY, she will drive a bigger wedge between her and the kids.
I just finished ep 58 - as a mom, I feel that slap is well deserved. CY acted very arrogant right off the bat…
It is not that I like CY or anything, but JA would not want to hear the truth coming from anyone. At this point in time, JA is only looking from her POV. She never thought about how the kids would feel. There is a foreboding with EA talking with her colleague and how sees it from her POV. She would not easily accept JA even when she is told JS involvement. It will take CY to slowly instill into EA that the circumstances caused this. CY has provided a stable house for a long time for both EH and EA. IT would be wise for JA to work with CY to get to know EH and EA. Not going around slapping the woman who raised her children into wonderful adults.
The problem here with CY is she ADMITTED she came in between DG and JA - so yes, she bears some responsibility…
Before all this misunderstanding - JA hates CY because CY's father called JA-dad (driver) who worked for him to drive in the rain and got into an accident and died. So, JA blames CY for that. DG and CY liked each other but might have been on different social standing and DG married JA and CY might have been with some one who was abusive and DG was helping CY during one such occasion and the misunderstanding began. JA blaming CY for that was not right. But, because of JA 's hate towards JCY family, she cannot separate and see it otherwise. Whether they had an affair or if DG was helping CY as a friend, we don't know. They keep saying misunderstanding constantly. I can be sure JS had something to do with this issue too - adding fuel to the fire (JA misunderstanding) and that being the reason for the divorce.
With the kids I can understand how they have assimilated with CY, because she stayed thinking that she would help out until JA comes and takes them home. She was not married to DG or was having an affair at that time. CY went to phillipines only after he had already gone there with his kids. So, to clear up the misunderstanding - CY went to PHillpines. She probably considered DG her friend and wanted to clear it up.
Now coming to disclosing information about their mother, I agree that they did not do it right. They should have started with the crap that JS did to her nephew and niece - causing them to be separated from their mother. DG and CY should have used hypotheses and asked questions as to how they (EH and EA) and would see to such a situation from their viewpoint. I don't blame any one with their reaction to the matter. It was handled extremely badly. JA is angry with the situation with CY which is wrong. Irrespective of what ever misunderstanding he has with CY, she should be extremely thankful for raising her children and providing a stable and safe environment for them. EA is so angry when she heard about JA. EA must have taken quite a long time to blend with CY. CY is now trying to protect EA since she has become accustomed to it. EH is so out of his wits now that he is getting to know JA is his mother. I think trashing CY by JA or JS will backfire since EH and EA have grown up to love her as a mother. EA will initially be angry at JA , then later JS and DG and CY .
Because of all these adults messing around, the lives of 2 wonderful children got complicated and messy.
