I've watched up to date and I don't remember it happening again but they do perform songs in class, etc.

I need someone who is further in the drama to let me know if there's more of this.. I got to Episode 5 and near the end of the episodes the characters just all break out into song and dance when setting up Amy's birthday party like, high school musical type of thing. I have nothing against it, but it's just not my thing as it ruined the immersion I had for some of the characters.

I got confused by that aswell, but I think it’s showing the time she spent in 2012 while also showing the current timeline but it hasn’t explained that well.
