Love the Way You Are - 2019 Chinese film. Highschool setting, there's the whole 'makeover' thing going on in both movies. Our Times - 2015 Taiwanese film. Fl likes someone else in the beginning of the movie but eventually realizes she likes the ml more. Yesterday Once More - 2016 Chinese film. I already recommended it. It's in love untangled's recommendations list. I was gonna mention Crazy Little Thing Called Love too, lol. You're talking abt the Thai one, right? The Chinese adaptation's also fun (but it's a drama). Rosaline - 2022 Hollywood film. It's a reimagination of Romeo and Juliet. If you liked the whole 'fl liking another guy in the beginning of the story but eventually falling in love with the ml' aspect of lu, you can give that movie a try. It's equally funny as lu. Whisper Of The Heart - 1995 Japanese animated film. I may not have like lu much, but i have to give it credit for portraying the feelings of first love quite accurately. The confusion that comes with experiencing it all for the first time are recurring themes in both movies. The ml also falls first for the fl in this one. They also face some issues towards the end of the movie which leads to them being separated, like se ri and yun seok. My Best Summer - 2019 Chinese film. Same highschool setting. One of the leads like the other but their feelings aren't reciprocated in the first half of the movie. Also, in lu, se ri and yun seok have to part ways because of yun seok's family issues. The exact same happens in my best summer. It's slightly more angsty than lu tho. The Girl Who Leapt Through Time- 2006 Japanese animated movie. This one might seem like a stretch but hear me out. Fl's are both very lively, very loveable. Again. highschool setting and her friend likes her but she only realizes her feelings for him in the second half. It has supernatural elements so I'm not sure if it's your cup of tea but it's a beautiful movie. Words Bubble Up Like Soda Pop - 2020 Japanese animated movie. In both movies, we see the fl being insecure about her appearance but she overcomes her insecurities by the end of the movie. Our Secret Diary - 2023 Japanese film. Highschool setting, one of the leads like a different character while the other lead is in love with them. Very cutesy and fun. What more do i have to say? 20th Century Girl - 2022 Korean Film. How could i not mention this lol? Same 90's and highschool setting. I won't say much because I feel like every one and their mothers have watched this movie, but if you haven't, just watch it.
and to think some Japanese politicians outright refuse to acknowledge the existence of comfort women. it's so sad how most of those women didn't get justice like ok boon because the Japanese government doesn't wanna own up to their crimes.
The way everyone is just in love with this drama. I just saw people say on twitter how this drama's getting them back into watching kdramas because the storytelling is just so sincere. Everyone's also praising minha and junho's acting and chemistry😭😭😭. Oh typhoon family....your impact
