I bet the third prince in the novel is more interesting

dude I remember seeing spoilers abt the third prince when the silver mine-crown prince storyline was still going on. everyone was saying how he was going to be so much worse than the crown prince, how he was going to be more insane and completely obsessed with fl. did you guys lie to the rest of us or did the writers decide to abandon the novel's storyline? cuz the way I see it, the third prince is just a dumb, lovestruck, useless villain who doesn't know how to do anything right. it's always Hua this, Hua that 😭😭😭😭
