Review Oh My Ghost
I have been waiting for a review like this. You put my exact feelings about this drama into words. I was also very bothered by how forward the ghost was. And the FLs choice to let the ghost possess her was such a bad judgment call.

I hope this is a joke
Bok Joo had zero truly genuine self confidence throughout most of the show and definitely towards the beginning half of it. She was very embarrassed of her body type and muscle mass and the fact that she wasn't outwardly feminine/small. When Joon Hyeong starts to show interest towards her she doesn't believe him because she thinks of herself only as friend material and not girlfriend material. Most of the sadness Bok Joo displays throughout the show stems from inner insecurities (as opposed to outer world problems/tragedies). The insecurities that I list in the review are the ones I personally noticed, but as other reviewers that love the show have pointed out I may have been a little too exhaustive and harsh with my assessment. I do stand by it though and even if you want to say that she doesn't have as many insecurities as I've listed she definitely has some.

I could not agree more with this review! It's like you read my mind. Your opinions about Bok Joo and Joon Hyeong in particular were exactly what I had thought while watching the show..

You know in 2019, when this came out, I definitely agreed with you on the whole tornado thing... however I really…
2020 would be the year for a tornado to hit Seoul cause clearly this year isn't crazy enough yet

I disagree with you on a point since I didn't read the whole review..but actually, yeah, there's a lot of girls…
Hi. I appreciate your opinion and you are totally allowed to disagree with my assessment of the drama (as I knew my opinion was in the minority even when I wrote this review two years ago). But if you're going to critique you really should read the entire review.

I never said that it was impossible for a girl to be insecure about everything in her life. I said "No one with that much self loathing can be as happy go lucky and set on their goals as Bok Joo is. That much insecurity amounts to depression in most real people, and while Bok Joo does display sadness over her various insecurities she always overcomes them with relative ease." I felt that if they were going to give her so many insecurities she should have the emotional depth and complexity of feeling to go with them. I also never said anything about love needing to have many 'you're beautifuls' and 'i love yous' so I don't know why you've assumed this. Also, I never claimed Joon Hyeong didn't love Bok Joo. I said Bok Joo didn't "believe he likes her for the first half of the show" (as in she was insecure and thus thought he was lying or teasing her when his feelings were really genuine). If you had read the rest of the review you'd have seen I say at the end that Joon Hyeong's most developed trait is his love for Bok Joo.

Honestly, you sound very young and I see from your profile picture that you love this couple but please do not respond to posts unless you've read and understood the entire review.

I really liked your review, I just watched the show and I'll be uploading mine in a while.I love when you say:…
Thank so much! I love Lee Minho but it took me a looooong time to understand the hype around him. I definitely agree that this was one of the few dramas he's starred in where I felt I was watching a character instead of just 'Lee Minho feat. other actors'. I haven't watched The King yet but I'm really looking forward to it. I love time travel dramas!

I felt every word of this. I go through intense phases with the things I like and the period where I was absolutely obsessed with K-dramas seems to have passed. It's made me really sad over the last few months but it seems every new drama I watch bores me to death. I've tried everything from watching the newest dramas from my two favorite actors (Lee JoonKi in Lawless Lawyer and Yoo In Na in Touch Your Heart), watching a drama with my favorite idol (IU in The Producers), and watching a universally beloved classic I've never seen before (Moon Embracing the Sun). None of it has worked. The last drama I was truly passionate about was My Mister but even then it did not reach the fever pitch of obsession and love I felt for Goblin or Moonlovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo. I hope one day I'll feel a passion for dramas again. This same thing happened to me with anime when after watching over 300 shows in two years I was majorly burned out and lacking appealing content. I got back into it after about four years and I'm once again loving every minute of it. I have rediscovered the things that I initially loved about the genre and its made me so happy. I hope the same will happen with K-dramas sooner rather than later.

Such a well-written review. Honestly, I'm always scared to try a Lee Min Ho drama because I haven't had the best…
Aww thank you for the compliment. I try really hard to write good reviews but I watch things so long after they've come out I worry no one reads them. I felt that the female lead in Faith was very strong willed in her own right. She makes many of her own decisions without Choi Young being her main concern. She rescues him and herself as much as he rescues her.

You sure you got the right minute correct...At 12:21 all I see is LMH sitting in a cell
Ah sorry. I actually figured out who the actor is (it wasn't Ji Soo lol). Thanks for responding tho :)

Hi so idk if i'm going crazy or what but can anyone tell me if the if the soldier in episode 8 at minute 12:21 is Ji Soo???? He just looks so much like him but i can't find info about this being him anywhere. I'm probably mistaken and it's not Ji Soo but i just want to be sure.

I completely agree!! Although I liked the beginning of the drama I started to really dislike it or felt like it…
Yeah that's really what i felt. I kept expecting something more substantial to happen and it just never did. Even the shocker in the final episode wasn't that shocking and felt very obviously like a plot device.
