I was watching jdramas well before i even knew about kdramas, but the reason why i was able to let jdramas go so easily is mainly the time warp and lack of romance.
the jdramas i was watching always had potential for romance but never followed through - unless romance was the main plot e.g. hana yori dango
- most of the dramas i watched were johnnys entertainment idol dramas tho so maybe thats why ?
but the time warp was definitely felt!
only recently ive started to notice fashion and hair changes but really it a lot of it does look the same - girls still have straight black hair with bangs and guys still have that '09 scene hair style
